    Bloody hell yeah!
    Yestreday it was "less cold".
This morning, I get ready for work, I putr on my winter jacket, my scarf, button up the jacket all the way to avoid a chilly wind getting in, get gloves, go downstairs, come outside.

    O_0

    15°C out!

/take off scarf & stuff in bag with gloves
/cycle to work with jacket open
Insane amount of birds chirping and singing all over the place!
/lose motivation to go to work

I noticed this on monday, the whole atmosphere had changed, everything seemed to have lost that winter grey(apart from the humans). Today and yesterday i've been rocketing around london(on foot) at lunchtime taking in the sights.

and for the first time in months i've had something other than coffee for lunch! Woo to the Irn Bru!

Its sunny in Washington??? Unfortunately I am working in Billingham this week, what little sunshine there is has been blocked by the suffocating clouds of chemical effluent. I wish to have it entered into the record that Billingham is the most depressing place in the UK, excepting maybe Hartlepool, or Middlesborough.

i'd say Billingham was worse than Middlesbrough? The only redeeming quality it did have was the soft play area that i used to have my birthday parties in..but that's shut down now. Billingham also has a Dunne's Stores where i used to routinely go to get school clothes every year. The changing rooms were always busy so my mum used be like "try these trousers on here..noones looking" which was followed by her pulling my trousers down in the middle of the shop and me going bright red.

Yep, the heating control in the car is now fully into the blue.

I've always said that the first pint on the beach is when summer offically starts for me. Pencils in friday after work.

The increased warmth is a real bonus but the deal clincher for me is when the clocks go forward.

Roll on being able to sit in the garden for a couple of hours when I get home from work - really gives your head a chance to "breathe".

The increased slink activity and decrease in associated clothing is up there. Everything looks so much better in summer light - even ugly girls!

    God i hate(d) winter

I did that yesterday and was a sweaty mess by the time I got to college.

People are already talking like it's summer, anything above 12c is summer in Ireland I suppose! \o/

I could tell the weather was getting warmer as they've only now decided to pop the heaters on full fucking blast on the trains.

    Yeah, cheers for that.

I'm sure it's only a day and it'll get cooler again but at least it's the end of the cold/snow/etc.

If the weather is decent over the weekend I'm having a BBQ!
    :-D

The bad thing is, it's the middle of March, so there's bound to be heaps of rain and at least one horrible cold spell to come over the next 6 weeks.

    /shudders

I know what you mean Nem. I got on the bus yesterday and the heat was blasting. Someone ask him to turn it down and he slaps on the aircon. I was warmer when I got off the bus, in March!

HEH! I love getting on the train in the morning (which is all hot hot hot and smelling of leather &aftershave by the time it reaches Cardiff from Penarth) and blatantlyopening the window next to my seat and then enjoying the glares of pure evil from the other passengers!
