I can't really settle into anything right now as I'm having the post-100%'d Witcher III blues.

I think I need a palette cleanser of something completely new so may grab Grid or Wreckfest (or both) this weekend.

@MrAGSystems Yeah of course. You start unlocking all the different abilities that then unlock all those old bits of the map you couldn't get to.

I've stride starting a new Skyrim save every night this week but I get stuck with indecision at the character creation screen.
Finally got things moving this evening and y'know what ... after all these years and it's ubiquity across the gaming landscape, across platforms, rereleases, special editions and the rest ... there's still a really special feel to this game. The world feels so present, alive and mythic, facing it with my first new character since my original on the 360 and seeing the valley open up after the tutorial dungeon with an empty map ready to explore.

It's easy to be jaded these days but this is the kind of thing an open world should about, a living sandbox to go exploring and make your own tales in.

Or maybe I'm just feeling incredibly nostalgic.

@Bichii Hmm... Hmm. I might give it another whirl so, in a gaming limbo and not sure what to play (tried a bit of Resident Evil 4 today and well, that's certainly aged).

Started playing the CoD WWII campaign from the latest Humble Bundle.... quite enjoying it tbh. Laughable, stupid fun.

Better than the other CoD I picked up cheap recently, Infinite Warfare.... that was alright but the space battles got old really fast.

    Gears 5
    Gears 3
AC Odyssey (just started sequence/chapter 7)

    PS4
    Borderlands 2,THC

This will probably remain unchanged except for Outer Worlds, which is already sitting on the xbox hd.

    .
Whenever I finish a sp game I have to have a couple of weeks off, unless it is a game I have been waiting on.

Speaking of Witcher 3 (excellent of course and Yennefer!) to my shame I have still not started the dlc's. Mainly due to the fact I beat the game on disc version, but bought the GOTY digital, as you know the saves don't go over. Which is most unusual. I know I can auto level to start them, but all my lovely gear :(

@DUFFMAN5 probably not a good idea to start Blood and Wine by itself because I heard the default gear sucks.

But Hearts of Stone is very story-focused and doesn't have a lot of combat, so it's worth it imho. Besides, it's some of the best story in the game.

I've got the forthcoming half term booked as holiday and looking forward to some quality time with The Outer Worlds and maybe a bit of MW.

We are a 3 xbox household so some multiplayer Halo or Sea of Thieves with the teens is on the cards too...

Only issues - I've promised to re-insulate the loft and my wife is a teache - so no chance of a big gaming session with 15 mins of Benny Hill-style housework before she gets home...

    Monster Hunter World.

Great so far. Settling it into nicely. Fights are great and its bat shit when turf wars happen. Menu's are a bit a confusing though

    F12019.

Still playing it. Seems like they have tightened up the AI pace in difficulty percentage, haven't had to change it yet 7 races into my second season. Got it dialled in nicely, resulting in some great races. Love it.

    Mini Metro.

My podcast game. Some of the sheen as worn of a little bit. Nice little time waster but it seems there no real strategy to it. Well there is, but its a bit random at times, which I guess strategy games have to be to keep you thinking but its a bit loose. Anything can go.\

Thinking of picking up modern warfare next week. Got the itch for it, but not sure if I get bored of it after those 5 or so hours have passed. Looks like it plays like any other cod, but its been a while since I last played one. (Advanced warfare I think)

    Current list goes something like:

Borderlands 3 (PC) - Playing a lot of this solo and co-op at the moment. Got my solo character to level 50 last night and already have a few orange drops at 50. Had fun making a boss-killer spec and blitzing down a couple of bosses in under 60 seconds.

Code Vein (PC) - My next Soulslike now that I've beaten The Surge 2 (which is excellent), though it feels much more Soulslite in places, with the difficulty definitely at the easier end of the spectrum as the genre goes. Like the visual design, but not so hot on the really heavy-handed narrative technique (sooooo many cutscenes).

Remnant: From the Ashes (PC) - Working through this on the backburner. Like it, but seem to play it in short bursts.

Final Fantasy 8 Remastered (PC) - It's a pretty shit remastering, as these things go, but the core game is still great and it's been a long time since I've played it.

Super Robot Wars X (PS4) - Still slowly working my way through NG+.

Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening on Switch

What a good game and having the world scroll instead of having individual squares like the old zelda games makes the world feel less claustrophobic.

I was disappointed with the slowdown but you do get used to it lol.

Picked this up today too. Feels like the perfect game for a few beers, pizza and cursing at the TV.

    Lawnmower bastards.

Glad to see more people buy this, I love this game and it deserves to sell well.
I will buy the DLC when it's on offer :p

    Yooka-Laylee

Really been enjoying it but have just reached the casino world and fuck me is it bad. Large, garish to look at and they've somehow managed to cram all the worst bits into it making it absolutely soul destroying to play.

I have no idea if I'm playing this well or even if I'm doing it properly. It looks incredible though.

    @MadCaddy13

It is good BUT my god it goes on and on and on and on. You think you have completed about 3 times before you actually complete. I think 10 hours could have been chopped and it would have still been a great game.

    As for me.
STILL ploughing through Ancient Greece. I am still really enjoying but it is another game that is too big. I'm level 32, need to be 34+ really to continue the story (sequence 7) so farming for a bit as I will not spend any money on it. It is such a great looking world and Kassie is pleasing on the eye and ears at least. Also I will never get tired of kicking people of high ledges while shouting THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAA, much to the bemusement of my daughter!

    Also:
    Gears 3 daily
    Gears 4 and 5 weekly
    :)

@Olopido Why go to a casino if you can play in an online bitcon casino https://gclubmaxi.com/online-casinos/%e0%b8%9a%e0%b8%b4%e0%b8%97%e0%b8%84%e0%b8%ad%e0%b8%a2%e0%b8%99%e0%b9%8c/

Costume Quest (PC) - because the Epic Store gave it for free. The reviews were right, it's lovely. Except that I already got stuck in the first sector, ouch.
Crash Bandicoot N'sane Trilogy (PC)- wow, amazing job they did with visuals. N'sanely hard though...in some parts.

Days Gone: Really enjoying this, just took down the 1st horde, its a really tense experience. The characters have a lot more depth than the reviews made out

    Thomas was alone
As its leaving gamepass soon, thought I would give it go. Its ok puzzle game, on 6.1 and its getting tricker.
