Just watched the trailer. Looked okay. Disappointed with Harley, the look and sound is off. Basically I want her to look and sounds just like Harley from rock steady games!!! Don't like the look of the new joker, looks a bit shit vs heath's version. |

Registered 10 years agoI'm more optimistic now then I was after that awful roll call still photo they leaked. Still worried most of them look identical, they are pinning quite a lot on Harley judging from the trailer. She seemed fine actually, but she only had little snippets of dialogue in the trailer so I felt theres not enough to write her off yet. With the joker there's aways the risk of falling into the trap of getting carried away, overacting and not pulling it off. He should have the acting ability to do something interesting but the look is very divisive isn't it, I'm not sure how I feel about that really. -

I'm wondering if Enchantress will cross over into quite a few of the other DC movies.
My guess is the following are safe from death,
Quinn
Deadshot
Boomerang
Rick Flag
Enchantress
Killer Croc and Katana.
WB have plans for 3 SS movies in over the next 10 years.
Hopefully some of these get to go one on one with Batman over that time as well oh and maybe at some point Deathstroke will come into the DC universe...But who would play him?
She's one of the few characters coming up that has anything to do with magic, and magic's one of Superman's very few weaknesses. Maybe she's a weapon to use against him. :/ -

Yeah, the batman has been added to that, probably cos they need something to make their money back that year after aquaman and the flash. -

Awesome trailer is Awesome.
WB/DC aren't afraid to add some narrative heft and seriousness to their property.
Quite why anyone would expect these films to ape Marvel I don't know. Can you imagine a snark fuelled version of Batman?
This looks great. As does Batman v Superman.

I can't see how it's going to fit into the dark & gritty they are doing at the moment. Although The Rock (who's playing Black Adam) says his character is going to be a bit of a cunt.

I may be paraphrasing slightly there.

Different from Marvel and the Batman films in between Burton and Nolan maybe, but the comic book anti hero isn't exactly treading new ground. I mean, even Snyder did it a little with Watchmen.

Though for some reason I do find this trailer kinda compelling, despite having little interest in the film. -

Obviously Marvel are just as guilty, but at least they've spread them out over a longer period of time.
I cant help feeling that the market will become over-saturated over the next few years and box offices will drop dramatically. -

Well, if it follows the dynamic of the squad in the comics, there will definitely be some members (specifically Captain Boomerang) that are less than trustworthy.
I mean, they're all villains. But some of them are dickheads even by the standards of villains.
