Without the tats it might be ok but they're really shit.

I like it and don't at the same time. I like that it's a different take but don't as it may be a bit too different. As mentioned I'm more intrigued to how Leto is going to sound.

Well he is definitely committed to the role.

I hated Ledger's Joker when I first saw the pictures, that obviously worked so I will be interested to see how this plays out.

    Looks like a Halloween costume.

Also that Cara Delivgne or however you spell it is in this. Can she actually act? Or has she been fast tracked into the movie industry because she's already famous, like models and musicians before her?

We've had Nicholson's gangster, Ledger's anarchist and now we have Leto's psychopath.

She got some great reviews for her performance in her debut film The Face Of An Angel. So, she can act.

The films not out for a while so there willl be plenty more controversy I'm sure.

I kind of like the Joker. I think.

Damaged tattoo be gone, green eyebrows put in place, and I think I'd be happier.
But generally the look has grown on me, he definitely has to nail that persona down though.

Luckily they didn't go with their original choice of "I am a psychopath" and gone for plan b "damaged".

What's the premise for this film. Don't know of the suicide squad.

I watched this. It's an excellent animated film which focuses on the Suicide Squad. Wouldn't mind if they used this for a basis for the film at all.

The American government assembles a team of criminals to undertake various dangerous top-secret missions, under heavy supervision, in exchange for reduced prison terms.

It's like the A-team, basically, but with supervillains.

Thanks guys. Like that idea. Pretty cool twist on it all. Will read up or watch that animated film :)

So am I right in saying batman v superman is based or loosely based on the dark knight returns. That's another animated film that gets raved about but I've never seen it.

Not too keen on the look but it's all about the personality with the joker. I'll have to wait till i see him in action before i make an informed opinion.

Read the collected comic, the animated films are all pretty crappy, imo. Certainly the two mentioned on this page.

So, so, so wrong that your first go to is an animated version, not the Frank Miller original.
