Registered 12 years agoMost keyboards are fine really, but you can always go for a £100 one that has leds. -

Registered 13 years agoI use a CM Storm with brown switches. Not had a problem with it so far, for either gaming or typing. -

Registered 15 years agoAre there any good but cheapish mechanical ones out there? I don't mind if it's a shorty/numberpadless one. -

Registered 13 years agoMy Razor BlackWidow was really nice. I'd still be using one if I hadn't chucked half a glass of wine over it.

Registered 20 years ago@csgo_gamer I got a model s professional with blue switches. I had mad money at the time and figured that if I was going to splurge, it made sense to splurge on something I spend such a huge amount of time using. -

), and I think I might have been better off with blues. I've an old Dell with ALPS switches which rattles like hell when I type on it, but I find myself bottoming out a lot on my brown switches so the noise I hear is the keycap striking the metal base. I'd have to try some blue cherries to find out if it's the lack of noise that makes typing on browns clunky, or whether I just need heavier switches. -

Registered 16 years agoI bought one of these Corsair K90 mechanical keyboards and if I'm honest, it's way too sensitive for my needs. That's Cherry Reds though!
Playing on it is very nice, but I'm just not that far up the whole 'competitive/hardcore gamer' ranks for it to bother me.
It ticks every box I need to tick, but it's all a little bit overkill.

Registered 8 years agoJust out of interest does the different colours you all refer to (brown, blue, red caps) actually relate to different sensitivity or something else?
Genuine question, just interested to know. -
