They absolutely were. We know that, everybody knows that, but Shadowcarer doesn't know that. I hope he comes back to address this very important issue. |

Clearly it's because they were through a camera lens, so you couldn't see things like people's limbs and whatnot when they hold something out, even though holding out a gun to replicate the FPS viewpoint means the camera is actually in his chest rather than where a normal person's head would be, and that you have to wave the gun around like a child with a toy sword, but aside from that this is like BEING THERE*.
* by being there I mean like watching someone else play COD. -
Mmm, it looks quite well done, but I'm unsure why it needs to be any longer than the trailer is. The gag is it is done like an FPS. Everything else looks a bit shit, the acting and the 'storyline' -

Registered 9 years agoThe Maniac remake with Elijah Wood is all in first person. Pretty gruesome too. -

For a moment there I thought you meant the much maligned, but then later reassessed Peter Sellers classic.

Registered 15 years agoMade me want to watch the Resident Evil films in first person. Daft, silly almost slapstick action full of viscera and things that go bang.
Nowt wrong with the idea. Perhaps it needs polishing and refining a little. but I mean, if the funking hobbit films can have a gopro section... -
