Gonna need to head in as yet another Smok mod/tank is falling to bits.

If I'm gonna move 'ecosystem' who is and isn't worth considering?

    Aspire?

Aspire tanks are good imo, never got on with their mods.

Recently I have used the Nikola Wolverine, Vzone Graffiti and Rev Tech Phantom mods found them all very good with an Aspire Cleito 120 Pro.

If you want something a little simpler then the Geekvape Lucid is worth checking out. It has a disposable tank which could be a downside depending on opinion. The tanks are around £5 to replace I think.

Asmodus are pretty solid. Picked up a lustro recently and use the uwell valyrian on top.

Touch screen can be seen as a bit gimmicky but does what itís meant to and i only really change wattage on a fresh coil before going back to normal power.

Lots about now though. Worth checking pbusardo or mike vapes on youtube maybe? They cover a lot

I needed something today as my Smok was really falling to bits, so it ended up being what was at the local shop. Have ended up with a UWell Crown IV kit with it's own mod. Impressed enough so far with the 0.4 coil. The tank has a tiny TPD compliant capacity so I'm gonna have to look for a bubble glass for it.

Thanks for the advice anyway and hope I don't end up having bought a turkey.

Having said that, there are much fewer hinges, screws and the like in this that there seems to be less potential for stuff to go wrong.

That last Smok tank I had (Prince Cobra) fell to bits in only a few months, absolute rubbish.

Weird, the Alien still seems to be the most robust, everyone my local vape shop ends up getting one and sticking with it.

I've had two Smok kits. Can't remember the names I'm afraid as the boxes are long gone. The one I've replaced today has a narrow LED screen and the batteries are spring loaded at the bottom. The fire button is the entire length of one side of the mod.

Over time, the screws at the top panel have worked loose, as has the spring for the battery compartment.

My newer Smok mod simply won't work. It'll charge but then will not switch on or fire.

Tank wise, the Prince Cobra I've been using has a swivelling lid attached by a pin, which worked loose. The lid fell off, whilst I can reattach, it's now never flush, meaning the airflow is always a bit disrupted.

Using a thin rubber gasket as the seal is also a design flaw IMO. They always wear out with filling over time, ruining the vacuum, yet another consumable to buy.

Don't even get me started on their coils, which seem to be fairly infamous!

The coil on this UWell worked well straight off the bat with a lot less priming than I'm accustomed to - much better.

I've found the baby prince mesh coils that fit my smok baby beast tank (or which ever the tank is)
never fail me and last for about 3 weeks. And I hammer them daily.
The wire coils from smok are shit. But since moving to the mesh coils I've had nothing but good times.

@Drakesmoke I don't really use tanks (although I do have an OFRF Gear RTA for when I'm not squonking) but that Uwell Crown IV kit does look decent. I think you made a good choice

After having a few issues with the reinforced steel coils on my Smok Billow Blaster 3000 I've moved on to a Norwegian company called Devil Puff. I picked up their Diamond Rhino Lung a few weeks ago (around 40 euros) and its been a revelation. Its got a quad barrel feed system hooked up with a network of titanium coils that are powered by lunar rays. Its a bit bulky and the backpack can be a bit intrusive but the mushroom cloud over my house speaks for itself.

I don't think it's possible to write a post so ludicrous that it would seem out of place in this thread

I've been using Vape A Box for a few months now. Silver package is £17 a month or so, 7x50ml shortfill juices and 7x10ml nic shots. Flavour selections a bit limited but for the price and the quality I'm not complaining

@y2rich 350ml for £17? Donít you have to steep for a few weeks with shortfalls first though?

I gave up 2 months ago. I'm not sure I'd recommend vaping for smoking cessation as I was doing it for a few years after giving up the fags. Though I very rarely if ever smoked cigarettes and they always tasted like shit.

Can't say I miss all of the faffing about and having to carry chargers, batteries, liquid around all the time.

@Theshape80 ideally yes but they're good to go after 24 hours or so if you need something in the short term

@Theshape80 the custard liquids are good from there, used to get them back when the company was based in the isle of wight and since sold the recipes. Helps that rejuiced is literally round the corner from me though.
