|Which coils do you use? I like the single because it leaves more room for juice, now trying the duos. I got a box of quads too but the duo is already a bit much for me.|

I have used double, single, quads and ss316.
The double are probably my favourite they seem to have good flavor and vapor production (if that's your thing).
The SS316 are also very good prefer them to the Kanthal singles.
The quads are good in terms of vapor production but seem to lose a little flavor imo.
@CrispyXUKTurbo nitecore are probably one of the best around as far as iím aware. They do a dual bay i2 charger thatís not much i believe.
Crispy I use this
Certainly cheap. I leave it at work and charge through the computer.
Having a 'mare this weekend. Have gone through two Crown IV coils in a very short space of time and nowhere local is stocking them.
Seriously considering just getting a cheap Aspire kit or something as a backup. I've ordered some (top tip - you can get cashback at 18.9 % through Topcashback) but would imagine it's flavourless/dry hit city until Tuesday or so.
Anyone else have similar issues with a particular brand?
I highly recommend the smok baby v8 mesh coils, I vape a lot. And the x4 coils (two chimneys) were getting wrecked. Guy at shop said try the mesh ones and it's all I use now, the quality has improved and I usually have one in for at least two weeks.
I've also changed to using salt nic booster shots and the flavour and hit is a bit better.
Have just bought my wife a aspire x75 mod or something like that. Nice little single battery thing. When my smok mod goes I'll probably get myself one.
@Drakesmoke I highly recommend getting something for nic salts as a backup. It is a different experience but complimentary. NS/20 juices are really nice. Not sure the best device, I had a teros which was okay but there are better ones out there.
I recommend the aspire gusto. It's a good backup and fits a nice kick.
The Gusto is great. Also the Lost Vape DNA / Q pod devices if you want a refillable pod rather than prefilled.
I haven't braved the salts thing yet. I went to the shop today with the intention of getting a small kit and then thought, nowt wrong with the mod, let's look at tanks.
Walked out with an Aspire Cleito 120 after asking what non-Smok coils are always in stock (sorry I'm done with Smok, no durability).
Very pleased with it, I ain't vaping it at 100 watts as recommended though.
After yesterday's experience it felt like having my first cig after a long flight!
Where to start with sub-ohm vaping?
@GoatApocalypse get a Smok Alien, some power output compatible batteries that are paired, get a tank or a dripper and start your cloud chasing ways.
Regarding tank or dripper, I have found the dripper to be so much better. You do have to constantly keep the cotton wet but otherwise it is better in every way. It also means you can get proper legit and start installing your own coils and wicking yourself. Proper big daddy Don action.
Some of this is probably not helpful.
Asmodus lustro mod is brilliant, it replaced my worn out alien.
Tank wise either cleito 120/pro or even the freemax mesh, have heard good things. Personally using a vgod elite rdta myself but as above thats more on the dripper/rebuildable side
I use a place called dream vape (facebook) and admittedly i know them personally but they're competitive price wise
Thanks - I think. So I can't just buy a box and use it straight off?

But to actually be helpful, get whatever tank you can get coils for locally. If you burn a coil out, you don't always want to be waiting 2/3 days for more.
Smok are generally alright, I had the Prince tank until not long ago. The freemax tank someone mentioned above is also pretty great. I have the Falcon King at the moment - it's good stuff.
I honestly don't think mods really matter. Get one that takes two 18650 batteries and make sure it can go up to around 100 watt. I have the Vaporesso Revenger (it's green and pretty).
Get an external charger (nitecore) and some 18650 batteries from somewhere reputable (not eBay). Then get two more so you can have some charging whilst you vape.
This sounds like altogether to much work! But thank you.
As long as you aren't going back to/still smoking, then godspeed friend.
Don't buy Smok products guys, they are by far our most returned brand of hardware.
Go for an Aegis Legend (or Mini for onboard) or a Voopoo Drag (or again a mini for onboard), maybe an OBS Cube or anything but Smok! There's so much better hardware out there now. Smok's game with coils is weak AF too now.
As mentioned above the Falcons are great for stock coil subohm tanks Freemax are great too, but time and time again the real belter out there is the Cleito. Aspire gear is generally pretty good.
Echo Bob's Aspire comments, the 120 Pro is a great tank, providing you get a bubble glass as well, 2ml is just pointless.
Falcon King is great as well some places do it with free bubble glass as well same with the freemax mesh pro.
Rincoe Mech Man is currently my mod of choice nicely built, solid and reasonably priced.
Also yeah avoid SMOK generally not very good promise the world but fail to deliver in my experience. I Priv as an example voice control providing you have a Chinese accent...
I like the look of the minikin V3/s actually
Definitely donít need another mod...
They do look very nice, the S has a fingerprint sensor albeit a bit of a gimmick.
Will probably wait for a Kodama edition because I'm a sucker... sometimes.
Yea i thought the touchscreen on my lustro was a bit meh at first but i rarely have to use it anyway as always in a similar range.
Kodama will look nice, always been a bit too bright for me though
Admodus gear is pretty good, but you pay a bit more for em. That said, my Minikin V2 is still going and I bought that when it was first released. Kodamas are nice, but the stab wood they use goes dull pretty quickly.
All about squonking for me. My Wismec Luxotic has been a trooper of a box. Looks pretty cool and understated too not being a MASSIVE GLOWING GREEN THING! 😀

My Minikin V2 has dulled.
The newer Minikin Boost has a gloss / varnish finish so may not have the issue. I would test it but can't bring myself to use it regularly.

Still using an old Triton setup with the Cleito bubble tank. Going strong even after over a year. Coils (I use the unpopular Ni200 TC ones) last ages and are very consistent.
Aspire stuff is great.
Ok, Ive hit my limit on my smok coils.
Tank change time.
Easy fill, one thing the smok tanks are good with.
Coils that last a while. Longer than random 1 week or maybe 3, if I'm lucky.
Easily switch the tank up to about 4 or 5ml
I've been using the smok babybeast with the mesh coils now for about 9 months, when it's good. It's good. But.....that's irregular.
I'm quite a heavy user so it need to take a beating
That seems to be the top of many lists.
Agree with pk, that or the very bling Freemax Mesh Pro.
Got me a king on order, (with extra bubble glass) with a bunch of coils. Cheers peeps, let's hope I don't end up in the Amazon delivery thread now.
