I am looking for a office chair which I can use for PC gaming - Does anybody know the best office chair within the £100-£200 budget range?

    Thanks in advance!

A proper gaming chair. One that's been through the wars and survived? Muddied, stained, but still proudly fighting on?

Those mesh back ones are very good if you spend a long time sitting.

I've heard good things about IKEA's "Markus" chair. I've never tried one, but it'd be top of my list if there wasn't a ban on black furniture in this house (seemed a bit racist I thought, but what do I know...)

I have been thinking about the ikea markus and heard its a very good chair, however I was also suggesting the GTOmega Evo XL which could be a idea however what do you think about it?

That'd be fine if you've got a bed shaped like a racing car as well.

I spent a fucking fortune* on my desk chair. I've got arthritis in my back so it sorta made sense.

I have the Ikea 'Markus' and can confirm that it is a mighty comfy chair. Only gripe would be to do with the head rest. It isn't quite big enough for when i'm slouching around like some sort of lounge lizard. My head ends up resting against the mesh back which isn't the nicest feeling on the noggin. I'd recommend getting a foot rest too if your going to go to Ikea, they had them in the same area and were cheap.

If the IKEA Markus is a bit out of your price range, I went for the Malkolm which is £55 and absolutely superb. There's a bluey-black version if you want it in a slightly lighter version.

Comfy as anything but also supportive. It's kept my back in shape for working from home then an evening of games. Really can't recommend it enough if you need a budgety option.

This is what I went for, it's ace. Much better than my previous chair (supplied by work, but wasn't very comfortable)

Can't remember what thread Derblington recommended Fatboy bean-bags in, but I tried one today and it was perfect.

Sadly James died a few months ago from a bad back.

If your chairs are so good, why is your name Wallker?

    I think you meant “wanker”.
