Registered 18 years agoI do remember Misty, just about, but I ended up reading Whizzer & Chips instead. I think it was Bunty that put me off. Then I started reading Jackie, so I'd outgrown it by then

Registered 20 years agoThere's some cracking stories in here. The Sentinels from Issue 1 looks like it's going to be a cracker.
And all the girls look liike they are fresh out of a Hammer horror flick. -

Registered 18 years agoWot about Jackie, my sister used to read that, i used to draw crude(i was only 5 or sommat, tisk)boobs and willies on the girls, horses and duran duran, ah source of great amusment.
*edit. Looking at the art, yet again proves european comic strips and centuries ahead of shit yank comics. Some of that stuff looks like it was drawn by the Vampirella crew.
/spits on crude american trash

I think Misty was kind of the girl's version of Tales of the Crypt really. I'm sure I remember one story in particular where two girls who really hated each other went to a fancy dress party. One was dressed as a spider and the other as fly and at the end, the spider girl ate the girl dressed as a fly. It was really rather horrible, pretty risky for kids I would've thought.
