Don't you still need a Wiimote to plug your controller of choice into? You don't have to actually use the thing, but you still need it to plug the Classic Controller into, don't you?

Dolphin would work around that, I assume. I've not played Wii games, only GC, on Dolphin, but if it's a pad game I'll give it a shot.

It doesn't use the pointer or motion control, so yes on dolphin you can map normal controls to be just like the classic controller.

Annoyingly, I put the game down after about 100 hours and never returned to it. I was moving house and things were left in boxes for months. I also have a bad habit of restarting games i've left for too long. Xenoblade wouldn't be an exception, which is why i've yet to return to it.

I put around 130 hours into Xenoblade - still had a ton of stuff to do (big monsters, different Monado's, secret areas, building the town up etc.).

Need to get it polished off before X comes out.

It's a Japanese direct preview for the upcoming Japanese release, need to wait for translations to see what news there is, nothing for Yoorop anyway.

This game has shot up to No 1 on my most anticipated games list.

I've not seen anything since the initial announcement footage, which didn't get me remotely interested tbh. But holy shit does it look amazing!

3DS is a remake of Wii game. Whereas I thought X was more of an alternative story than a sequel.
