Since we are all prone to outbursts and silly comments on EG I think it is only right that we have a confessional for our sins.

My confession today is that I have been bleating on about PC's when I know that it only leads to pointless arguments.

So who is going to be the priest? I nominate Feersum :D

Hmm I was thinking about confessing something I did last night (it is gaming related!) in its own thread but this'll do.

Forgive me gamers for I have Simmed.
I got a copy of The Sims Online playtest shipped over from the US, it was only $10 and I've got plenty of time on my hands at the moment. I installed the behemoth (about 1.5Gig) and then let it patch itself which took a while. I then became a citizen of Alphaville, one of the play test cities. After visiting a couple of houses (one of which crashed quite frequently), improved my "logic" skill, talked to fellow Sims, played "code" for a while (which isn't very interesting really most people just play it to make money) and changed costumes quite a bit, I came to the following conclusion : The Sims Online is completely pointless! There's no game here at all!

I thought it could be a perfect way of proper roleplaying but with its dependency on raising your Sim's skills, which involves clicking on an item and letting the Sim get on with it while you sit there and chat and making money doing uninteresting tasks. Even the most boring spawn camping in other online games beats this into a pulp. I'll probably go back and try it again but I really thought there would be things to do in the "game" but there isn't.

Can we have an unified church leader? We don't want people not believing in the confessional because you aren't making the sign of box, or the third place (which I believe is anatomically impossible). How about the universal symbol of the game box?

I've never seen ET or Superman.
Not a gaming confession, but tends to suprise people none the less.

    Contributed too.

Pity the glasses didn't quite fit in the optimum place on the boobies though.

Absolutely not. A curse on those heretical deviants who worship the sign of the X. Splitters. They will burn!

    Follow the Cube!!
