    She was so hot thirty years ago.
    Who remembers her (Deirdre's) cock shaped jelly mould?

    Corrie won't be the same with her strutting along along the cobblestones with her ridiculous glasses.

    @Steve_Perry

    Corrie is the first soap opera ever made, and has been running for close to half a century. Even if you don't like it, there's no denying that it's a large part of UK culture and has had a huge influence on television.

    Hell, even Ian McKellan was a regular character for a couple of years.

    Jesus, just when we thought the forum couldn't get any worse, here comes A USER I RESPECT AND ADMIRE to reassure us that yes, indeed it can.

    Also, I think The Archers was first.

    The IT industry is probably a bit younger, man you're all over the place with your dates today.

    For a Barlow, she set the bar very high. RIP.

    She sounded like she had a bag on her head when she spoke though.

    Do we know for sure it was natural causes, and not assisted in some way due to the Yewtree net closing in?

    Hewlett Packard was founded in 1939 so actually the IT industry is older.

    Are you saying she had some more dirt on Roache and his Druid mates offed her?
    Sounds plausible.

    I remember watching a documentary on Bill Roache. He cut such a sad figure, only seeming to stay in acting because his daughter was addicted to buying horses and his wife was addicted to spending wodges of cash.

    He opened a supermarket in the most morose way possible to pay for some gold plated taps she wanted.

    No wonder he fucked so many other women.

    All aged 16 and over yes. Perfectly legal and acceptable when he was in his 30s and 40s. It was a different time back then etc.

    "A truly British TV icon" doesn't mean "good".
