Now the pathetic wanker is claiming he "didn´t see anything" - rather it was his assistants who brought it (Rijkaard visiting Anders Frisk's lockerroom during halftime) to his attention. This despite Mourinho himself having stated that "he couldn´t believe his own eyes".

What a fucking tosser - first he gets all big and tough, demanding excuses (and threatening with lawsuits) from FIFA, and now that he has realized that he made a mistake, he´s full of excuses. He´s not even man enough to admit what he did. Cunt.

I sincerely hope that Chelsea get rid of him - ASAP - before he does any more to damage the club. And then FIFA should have a long and serious talk with him - preferably involving electric drills and a blowtorch.

    /feels better

Since you pretty much always contradict me, just for the sake of it, I take it that you actually think Mourinho is just as big an asshole as I do...

So you´d have the most pompous, arrogant, lying, unsympathetic wanker coaching your team - just cause he´s good at it?

I don't like football. With that said, he seems a tough son of a bitch (in a good sense) and when he was coaching a portuguese team (FC Porto) he said "I will fucking do it." And he fucking did it.
But like I said, I don't even pay attention to football. I did have some gigles with his interviews on the noon news though =)

He's managed to do one thing since he's been at Chelsea, he's become a manager I hate more than Alex Ferguson! A stunning achievement but he's got some work to do before he's a greater Satan than Graham Westley, a name that won't mean anything to most people.

Someone who will lie to the public and put an honest man (Anders Frisk) to shame, KNOWING that it could have serious consequences for the life and safety of the latter, just to avoid admitting an honest defeat in A GAME - and then not even be man enough to stand by said deceit - is NOT (IMO) a decent human being.

I don't like football, but Mourihno is fecking ace:

    1. very good looking,
    2. a most restrained yet elegant sense of style,
    3. very well read,
    4. prone to lyrical yet enigmatic pronunciations that actually mean something, unlike Eric Cantona.

All in all, a fine addition to the drab, ignorant, and ugly bastards we normally get in this country.

Assuming that all of the above is true, where does the current affair fit in? Or maybe he just a good-looking, elegant, well-read and -spoken ASSHOLE?

    Wouldn´t be the first time.

well, I'd rather listen to a clever arsehole than an average footballer. In fact, I'd rather eat my own testicles than listen to the mental subnormals who usually talk about football. In fact, I'd be more than happy if the footballs were replaced by giant wrecking balls, and the players had mecha suits. I'd be even more happy if football was banned and speedball 2 was introduced.

    I loathe football.

The thing I wonder about Mourinho is what he would have been like at any other club in the Premiership. Say, for example, he had gone to Tottenham. There's no way he would have had anywhere near the same level of success, at the very least not as quickly, so would he have had the same attitude and arrogance?

It's very easy to be the way Mourinho is when you're winning, but he has consistently shown himself in a bad light when Chelsea do not do as well as expected of them. We got a little taster early in the season when Spurs got a 0-0 out of them, and he was whining on about us "parking the bus in front of the goal" and it not being "fair". It's times like that, and then of course more releventally folowing their defeat against Barcelona, that he just ends up looking a fool.

I quite liked him when he first came to England, and got a bit swept up in the whole media frenzy of "he's a breath of fresh air"s and "a real tonic to the Premiership"s. But, there's nothing that irritates me more than a manager that screams conspiracy every time they don't win a game, and I think this is just going to get worse next season, as I doubt very much that Chelsea will walk away with it again next year. The Mourinho backlash has started, and it's going to be savage :)

Surely it's not Mourinho's fault if some stupid fans get in in to their heads that threatening the referee is the thing to do? Surely then it's the fans fault? And if it's "only a game" then why should Mourinho expect anything like death threats to Frisk?
By the way, I think Mourinho is a) funny (to hear what he has to say), b) a very good manager and c)sometimes very annoying.

    Jose Mourinho =

    - A self-important type who, if he was made out of chocolate, would most certainly eat himself.
    - A lot more insecure than anyone gives him credit for right now. He's ALL front but it works for him, at the moment.
    - Probably quite a nice, funny guy - bizarrely enough.
    - An irrefutably great football manager who never stops looking at ways to improve players, the team and their overall performance.
    - A great man-manager, his players love him, that much is obvious though the 'winning' helps!

I love him, despite being a Manchester United fan he's probably one of my favourite managers ever: along with Cloughie and, of course - Sir Alex. Wenger's a great manager but also a dour, soulless twat!

Heh..at least a bit of the 'haters' heat is off Fergie for a while. Every football fan hates a successful manager if he's not working for the club they love. Fergie/Wenger/Mourinho it's all the same, unless it's Keegan, who everybody has a bit of a soft spot for, because of his comedy heart on sleeve stuff. "I'd love it...I'd really love it..."
I don't hate Mourinho...I prefer to hate the way the media builds all this bollocks up to ultimately stir even more hatred among our tabloid reading nation.
It's a lesson he'll have to learn, same as all the other managers working in England in a high profile job have to do. He certainly won't be as 'free' with his after game comments next season.
Cue all the "Oh yes, all credit to the other team, they fully deserved it"....etc...etc..bollocks...cliche after cliche. And YES, we will be looking back and thinking it was 'a breath of fresh air' while it lasted.

*hopes for more naive foreign successful managers to be handed an 'easy' job

Conspiracy theories. Accusations towards referees. Firing in all directions after a defeat. Saying things that may or may not mean something important. Megalomania.

    /giggles

He's doing it! He's turning English football into Portuguese football...

Oh, and I believe he made a pact with the devil. It's that simple. The poor bastard* received an offer he couldn't refuse.

    *I mean the devil.

Of course Mourinho isn´t directly responsible for the threats - he didn´t write them. However, only an idiot wouldn´t expect some of the more extreme fans to react in this way, when a person of authority is actively saying "Andres Frisk was bought by Barca to make us lose". Mourinho is many things - but idiot is not one of them. He KNEW what would happen, and did it anyway.

And if it's "only a game" then why should Mourinho expect anything like death threats to Frisk?

It IS only a game - but some people sadly dont understand this. Again - Mourinho is perfectly aware of this.

By the way, I think Mourinho is a) funny (to hear what he has to say), b) a very good manager and c)sometimes very annoying.

That is up you - I stil stand by my criticism of him.

    NOTHING changes the fact that:

    A) Mourinho lied - to save face.

    B) His lies caused a well-respected ref to quit his job, after recieving multiple death-threats.

That is - IMO - neither funny nor sympathetic.

I'm sorry mate, I think we all need to wait for what Uefa do before we can say he lied. Don't forget that the Press do have a tendancy to make things up, I'm reserving judgement.

I will also say this, I'm not a Chelsea fan but I do think he is a breath of fresh air in our game.

I hate the man, but I'm convinced that, if somehow Tottenham would have grabbed him, he would have still shocked the Premiership. He is that good. And Tottenham happens to have some really good players that could do a lot more than they are doing right now.

In my very humble, outsider's opinion, the difference between Mourinho and Sir Alex is that Mourinho is good. Ferguson is a cunt and a poor manager too.

I don't want Mourinho (or Ferguson) out of football, though. I need to care about one of the teams in order to enjoy a match and with Mourinho on the bench I'm always going to want Chelsea to lose.

Unfortunately, I'm also always going to be dissapointed. Damn arsehole is soo good. :(

A cunt eh? Ah yes, very humble there mate. Oh, and a poor manager too. Yes, terrible, managing a team to win all those trophies is a piece of piss I'm sure.

This is exactly what I meant in my post.
