    Great to watch, but I wouldn't really call that "coding". He's more reciting that code from memory - obviously done it a million times before.

    So i'm finally about to crack on with this space shooter tutorial in Unity. Some two weeks after shamblemonkee first linked me to it! I'm still unsure as to why I've been putting this coding off for so long. I have so little motivation at the minute.

    Update - The tutorial is coming along nicely. Put in 3 hours this afternoon. Got as far as importing a 3D model, setting up a camera, lighting and a background. The easy stuff, basically. Later on tonight i'll get my scripting head on. I've never coded in C# before, so I don't know whether or not I should knock out a crash course in it first, but I have C++ and Javascript experience to fall back on.

    I've now drawn all the sprites/tiles pixel by pixel into the Speccy, layed out the levels and am now tweaking the AI. Hopefully I won't run out of memory (10k left of 28k).

    Well... I didn't get to do everything I wanted (particularly re-doing the graphics), but I've released my non-game:

    I learned about data-structures and how to manipulate them, I coded my own high score table rather than using the built in GMS High Score functions (which IMO suck), and figured out encrypted save files.

    TIME PARADUCKS is actually pretty awesome :)

    The lawnmower 'game' had me looking outside at my own 'lawn' (while pressing M), thinking that needs some attention as well ;)

    As for my own game...I'm not going to make the Eurogamer Game Jam deadline :( (no excuses, I just had other priorities)... which is probably for the best as I want to do it properly (it's a hobby, not work :)).

    Yeah I will keep working on mine... I have a lot of time next 2 months. I am also writing a 350 page book though... hard to split the time.

    Finally finished Blimpgeddon for the ZX Spectrum.
    Let me know of any bugs, I've not fully playtested it yet.

    Playtested it now, seems only minor bug on ending screen.

    The cheque's in the mail Decks ;-)

    I tried QAOPM, pressing M was uncomfortable.

    There's now a version 1.01, this tweaks the ending screen sprite being wrong animation
