It was full of made-up, fantastical, inventions. I'm pretty sure one of the scenes was set in a swimming pool / aquarium / underwater, and it had a things like robotic crabs or a submarine with lots of appendages. (I seem to remember tiles, as if in a swimming pool, and a window with brass fittings around it.) There may have also been a scene set in a bedroom, with Heath Robinsion style gadgets to wake people up. The ilustrations were colour line drawings. I think the book was a hardback. This would have been early-ish 80s, so it could have been from that period or even released in the late 70s. Any ideas? Edited by 1Dgaf at 17:15:07 01-03-2015 |

Registered 15 years ago@Phil-McCrack That's a sci-fi film starring Dennis Quaid and Lou Gosst Jr. I ordered the DVD the other day. -
@Grax This is a book about a hungry catterpillar, not an inventive catterpillar.
