You can support them in 6 months when it's in a different sale to the 20% off it's currently in, and they get paid when it goes to Plus regardless.

I'm not saying you should buy it if you don't have time for it, I'm talking about the general "waiting for PS Plus" mentality to not spend a few quid. That's not specific to Helldrivers.

Blimey it's not even that big!

I downloaded all the PS+ titles (except Valiant Hearts as I already had it), Helldivers and the Bladestorm:Nightmare demo (which is 5 gig) while I was at work in only a couple of hours on my 100 meg line.

@Whizzo Yeah. :-/. Probably bad timing, with everyone now downloading the new PS+ games after work, but it doesn't feel like a great service.

Seems to be accelerating now though.

It is taking aaages to download on the vita. Mind you I was playing Child of Light on it too and the PS4� is downloading Helldivers and all the other ps+ games too.

Testing my connection to the limit tonight. Glad I have no data capping!

This is really good fun. Already had a few good games with EGers and randoms. So much better with a full team and the difficulty ramping up. Really impressed.

Only had time for training and a single solo mission but I really like the feel so far - be up for some more hectic missions in co-op - and apologies for the inevitable friendly fire if I see you online.

Ammo can be increased by upgrading weapons, plus if you're in a full team everyone should probably have the ammo strategem so you shouldn't be short for long.

So after a good session last night I'm very glad I didn't wait for it to inevitably turn up on PS+ as I think it's great. It could so easily be a 40K game too so any fans of that should take a look.

The last game I played with 3 other EGers last night, 3 stars, I only TKed once!

I've been using one of these for a couple of years now, only does a max of 30FPS at 1080p but that's fine with most stuff. YouTube adds its own brand of compression yuckiness to it.

One issue I had with my launch DS4 is it wouldn't autofire any weapons reliably, it seems to be happening with other people as well, a newer controller was fine. Hopefully that'll get looked at.

Or I need to give my R2 a spring clean but it's fine in other games.

Anyone else had trouble connecting to friends? I'm on PS3 and trying to play with a friend on PS4 and he didn't show as online for me, I did show for him but neither of us could see each other in the server list. We had to both join the same random and the first time got lucky as they quit out straight away and the host migration left it as just us.

Guys, how is the control scheme for this? Tempted to pick it up for some couch co-op, but the way we do things at Casa Rivuzu is a bit odd. We actually use the Vita to connect remotely to the PS4 (input is 0 lag, though Vita screen is about .5second delay) whilst the other one of us uses the PS4 pad.

Do you end up using the entirety of the pad, all shoulder buttons as well? Only because I kind of detest touch controls.

I fixed my cross save issue, hadn't installed the bloody patch on my vita - duh.

Loving this. Really reminds me of L4D - friendly fire, trying to avoid combat where possible, then when combat does happen it really kicks off. It even has a stripped down version of finales at the end of each level when your waiting for extraction.
