I had a quick look at this the other night, seems good for an occasional blast. how do you connect with randoms though? It kept shoving me into missions by myself.

Played this today for the first time. Good fun but very samey. Don't like how the camera moves with the whole squad and isn't flexible. Players so far are pretty terrible. 8 missions from 8 so far.

@wuntyphyve When you are in your ship, with the map and the upgrade screen if you go to the bottom of the screen there is a tube that will pop up "multiplayer." Just past the two saluting grunts.

Hit X on that and it will take you to a menu of availble games to join. You can then filter that list by enemy typw and difficulty. You may have to try a couple of times to get into a game. I find spots fill quickly so isially best to go for a lower popularion game.

Also, if you enter a game by yourself, there is a stratagem to call that attracts other players to you. It has an SOS on the pop up stratagem menu.

@wuntyphyve Yeah the gamw doesn't explaim all its systems that well but once you get into it, its fine. If you're on PS4 add me for some co-op shennigans sometime.

So why would one want to go away from the evac site? Just had a stand off on a hard mission. Two of us wanted to goto evac but the other two were insisting on the opposite direction??

I just pretended to comply then grenades then as soon as they engaged the enemy. Me and other random then went to the evac and defended ourselves without calling the other two back. Just managed it too.

Were they wanting to go looking for the samples to get bonus levels using the drone?
