It's probably 120 minutes of advertisement for the USAF, and why and how you could/should be bombing small countries into oblivion.
Heat is a hairball of a film, strands that go nowhere and is only recommendable because it's the last time that Pacino and DeNiro actually acted in a film.

I thought Insomnia was pretty good. Pacino playing an old, exhausted man probably is suited to him however.
