I heard the odd inkling about this, but now I've discovered it's definite. Here's the trailer. Cast is quite an odd line-up as well, with David Warner and Victoria Wood thrown in. Heh heh, there's always one. |

They showed a few bits of it on last nights 50 greatest comedy sketches and, dare I say it.... I wasn't really convinced. Although it's not really a show that you can take snippets from and still find it funny, so it's impossible to judge at this stage really.
I'll just keep my fingers crossed that this will be good. -

I can't imagine anything less than brilliant coming from these four remarkably talented chaps, but I guess we'll have to wait and see if it works out. Looking forward to it! -

Is it still that old teaser trailer? I think I saw that a month or two back on Film 2005. Who knows, at this stage, if it'll be good or not.
Looking forward to this, obviously. The trailer was a bit of a disappointment though. Just Tubbs asking "are you local" which is a bit "where's me washboard" but there you go.
However, I'm hoping for something as good as Sean of the Dead - a bit drawn out maybe, but as good as the best of the series episodes. -

Registered 20 years agoI'm guessing that you'll be about 3/4 into the film before they drop Papa Lazarou into the proceedings and everyone in the cinema goes nuts and starts cheering...

Registered 18 years agoI reckon it'll be an extended version of the Christmas special. At least I hope it will, 'cos that episode did scare the crep out of me

'little brown fish', heheheh!
That trailer gives me mixed feelings. On the one hand, it looks funny. On the other hand - denizens of Royston Vasey travel to London to avert the apocalypse? Hmm. Really there's no way this is going to be up to the standard of the TV or radio series, is there? They just won't be given the same freedom.
