I cancelled my TWEWYFR pre-order. May cave again, but with Octopath on the go, Valkyria Chronicles and Okami untouched and my Rocket League addiction rearing its ugly head, I can't see where I'll find the time.

Check back this time next week ;-)

Uninstall Rocket League. That's what I do. That 9gb download takes too long to make it an impulsive option to play. :D

This may be the only case of this I've actually heard about from what I presume is a real person. I had almost believed it was a conspiracy on behalf of the screen protector makers.

Iím so careful when docking my Switch, slowly inserting with a little fear.

The other day it went in and didnít quite feel right, something was different. I pulled out immediately but still with caution.

On the far left laid a new thin scratch down the dark edge. Hardly visible but still heartbreaking.

I now cover my dock with protection. A thin cloth so I can insert without fear.

    All sexual innuendos intended.

@BigOrkWaaagh Sounds like something got into your dock. I was really fortunate not to scratch the screen for the first 9 months when the console launched, but I've been using orzly screen protectors ever since.

That screen protector also remains unscratched. \o/

My oRLY screen protector has marks where i assume my screen would otherwise have scratched if i didnt have it on.

I've still got the original Game Boy fully boxed without a single scratch which my parents bought me at launch.

The Switch.... nooo... how it's meant to be used can friggin damage the screen.

Never damaged or scratched a phone, console or human in my life. Gutted.

Yeah, best thing I purchased for the Switch is that Orzly screen protector.

Tried the Megaman 11 demo last night. Yikes. Horrid artstyle, can't do with Megaman bleating and moaning either. I'm sure some people get off on that shit, but no thank you.

So, we've found out what these special versions of NES games are that are coming to the online service. There's a new 'SP' version of Zelda available that gives the player all the equipment from the get go and a decent sum of money. I guess that's to make it note appealing to newcomers, but it also allows you to complete the dungeons in any order.

I can't remember what other 'SP' games announced were, but I believe one of the Mario platformers will be getting similar treatment.

I think for the NES games, it has to check in with the server once every 7 days. Not sure if that means the console will automatically do it when you have a connection though, or if you have to manually launch the NES software.

You just need to have a connection I think. You don't need to launch the app and leaving the system in sleep mode should suffice.

Just getting into Xenoblade 2 (canít find thread on my phone). About 8 hours in, absolutely loving it. XB was one of my fave games of all time and this feels like the perfect follow up.

@Youthist Its a great game. The more you put into it the more you get back from it. The first game is an all-time favourite of mine, but I think the second game just about surpasses it.

The XB2 map does suck, but a lot less than it used to. It's probably pretty difficult to design a good map for areas that are as bloody complicated as they are in that game, but but it felt really rushed nonetheless.

I just started Chapter 4, worked out how to get affinity up with the pouch items.
Next I need to try and get some decent drivers with different elementals.

Awesome game, if it was just in 1080p it would be perfect.
