@Armoured_Bear why? Why does itís resolution matter??

Also, I played the game at release (pre patch) is the map markedly better now then?

The updated map makes it clearer that you are or are not on the right level.

Someone please help. I was struggling to get my 8bitdo f30 to connect. Someone on here said something and that was the way I finally got it to happen. All the YouTube guides arenít it.

Itís driving me mad, anyone? Tried going back through my forum posts but they only go so far, and I canít remember if it was this thread or another Switch one that the guy posted in.

Solomon's Key is great. I never played it as a kid, but its one of those games I probably would have sat down with either my brother or mum to help figure out how to beat each level. It's simple enough, but its great fun trying to plan each level.

It reminds me of Lemmings in that respect.

Was Mark of the Ninja considered good when it came out because that kind of game wasn't that common then, or is it still good?

@monkman76 it is still very good, if you ask me. It has a feel of Oddworld to it, but with its own approach.

Been hearing some bad stories about the framerate on Switch though. Apparently it's very unstable in docked mode, and locked to 30fps in handheld mode, which is pretty weird since even the old Xbox 360 version played at 60fps.

Yeah I was reading the same this morning. Apparently if you run it docked them take out the switch it moves to an uncapped 60fps mode that goes all over the place too. Hopefully something they can fix with a patch as it's hardly a graphically demanding title.

Been playing Mark of the Ninja handheld all night and the frame rate seems absolutely fine to me.

I therefore conclude that either these issues only appear later on in the game, or the internet is full of spoiled brats who donít appreciate how fucking lucky they are.

Mark is a ridiculous name for a ninja.

I got a reply from Nintendo regarding my faulty Joy Con. Basically the said they aren't doing anything because the 2 year thing doesn't apply. This is technically correct, but disappointing. Oh well, was worth a try :)

The Joy Con still works for portable mode and I have other Joy Cons for party games so I'll probably just leave it at that. I still think £29 repair for a £35 product is ridiculous though.

I dunno, I think it's the perfect unassuming name for someone to use if their job requires them to go around undetected. Like a ninja, perhaps.

It applies to the retailer, not the manufacturer. I'd have to cart the whole console and everything down to the shop, which means there's a chance I'd lose the console and the saves. Unfortunately, the save I'm most attached to is Minecraft, and it's not compatible with cloud saves.

Have anyone else's controllers been playing up since the update? My left joy con now randomly pulls to the left, and the right one has started suffering random disconnects or registers false motion input. E.g. in Splatoon the screen will just start spinning 360. Needles to say, calibration does nothing to solve this.

At least with the left one I don't think it's wear as it's fairly new. The original was replaced under warranty by Nintendo as it wore out.

Is a translation issue, heís Russian. It should be:

    Markov: The Ninja.

@PazJohnMitch I see! I wasn't too sure at first. If video games and the 80's taught me anything, it's that Russians tend to have large moustaches and mullets, but I guess Markov conceals those behind that large black scarf he's wearing.

I still find it a little odd that his outfit isn't green and red, though.

    @PazJohnMitch Nice.

In other news, I only thought to google why Mario has a black moustache but brown hair yesterday. The answer is that Nintendo area a bit lazy basically.

I have brown hair and a ginger beard, and am basically lazy. I would like to blame Nintendo for this.

@Ienjoysquid I had this before the update but seems to have improved a bit. Give it a clean inside the sticks (dust etc) and see if that improves. As simple as it sounds that has helped mine greatly

Bravo again to Nintendo and credit where it's due. Mario party came out early before xmas. Played with my 6 year old and and we had great fun. No one comes close for family friendly games and local co op. Hopefully more boards will come out . Looking forward to playing smash and pokemon with him

I had both my two and two of their friends around earlier today and they loved their 90 min board game on it (ages from 14 to 11). Obviously they were fighting and arguing and hating the unfairness of it all - but there is no denying itís appeal.

Wish they'd done something with the controllers - decorating the dock when its mostly going to be played in Portable mode seems a bit of a waste.

Bought some additional joy-cons early last year, they've got the issue where they lose connection when wireless. Under the 2 year warranty am I right in thinking that I'd be able to return them to the store I bought them from?
