This didn't mean much to me until I watched this....now I want it. *Provided it is under $40. For a game this old I won't pay full price. I know they have to do a lot to port it over but it still is an older game.

I don't know much about it myself, just know that a few on here absolutely love it, and Austin Walker of Waypoint never shuts up about it. Will check it out!

@AddyJB Consensus seems to be that this is a very handy dandy peripheral. I'd consider it myself had I actually come up against one single game that either supports tate or I have the inclination to play.

You'll have to give your appraisal.
Yeah it's more for pinball. Probably won't get it for a few weeks so will give it a whirl and post some thoughts once it's in my grubby mitts.

Caved and ordered Mario U Deluxe to play with my lad. Will probably sell Odyssey to offset the cost.

Dragonís Dogma is one of my favourite games, ever. If I am honest with myself, I like it more than the Souls games. I canít even tell you why, but to me it felt how I thought RPGs would be in the future when I played Ultimate, Bardís Tale etc. in the 1980s, much more so than Skyrim and similar games. Might have helped that thereís so much Harryhausen influence in the game.

Iíve played it too much to buy it again, though.

Monster Boy on Switch has sold 8 times as many copies as all other platforms combined. The developers seem rather happy about it.

Now if only these smaller publishers pulled their finger out and gave us Spelunky and Fez already!

@DangerousDave_87 It's a tremendous game. Certainly the best action adventure/Metroidvania sort of game I've played in years.

@DangerousDave_87 That really is some crazy numbers right there. I know a lot of developers have expressed how well games sell on the Switch, but a ratio of 8:1 (everything else).....thats just crazy.

Downloaded Hollow Knight last night. Forgot Switch this morning...ARGH.

In other news, the temptation to buy Guacamelee 2 is really strong. It's not hugely expensive but I've got such a backlog and I know it will be half the price by the time I come to play it. Hollow Knight can tide me over for now though - £4 using Gold coins :).

Not to nudge you, but I started Guac 2 this morning. It's so fun, charming and stylish. Two thumbs up so far.

@Singularity I know, mate. I'm sure it is. I loved the first. Would probably enjoy it more than HK as well I'm sure but feel I should probably hold off for now given my backlog.

Also, am I the only one who didn't know about the free DLC character for Smash if you buy before 31 Jan? I've bought it for my son's bday in Feb so will have to crack it open to get it I think. What a shame! :D

@monkman76 See how worried I am:

I really canít recommend this enough. Itía classic, yet endlessly innovative and varied mixture of a little fighting, platforming and puzzling. Almost perfectly balanced difficulty most of the time. Someone said itís a 2D platformer as a AAA game, and thatís not far from the truth.

It's definitely on my list to pick up this year. I bought The Dragon's Trap when it came out on switch, and the hit detection really put me off, so I never managed to complete it.

HK is mostly underground so the urine wouldn't reach it.

Is Monster Boy actually good, or is it archaic toss like Wonder Boy: The Dragon Trap was?

I will cut you. Cut you with a dull, rusty spork.

I don't think I've ever seen a metal spork in my life, much less one that would rust.

It's not out yet over here, is it? I've been waiting patiently. As far as I know it's only out in Japan so far.

I somehow thought these were the same thing and glossed over it any time it was mentioned.
