I guess I'm hoping for some more good indie games (hopefully released at the same time as on other platforms), and possibly some 'triple A' multiplatform games, because nothing on the lists above appeals :/

@monkman76 Not even Luigi's Mansion? The second one (not played the first) is a terrific game!

I got bored of the 3DS version, not sure why. I tried to like it. :(

I seem to remember getting frustrated with how fiddly it got if you wanted to do it properly.

That's true, it was a bit fiddly, but I think chances are good that it will play better on the Switch.

Yeah, it's odd how much I loved Advance Wars but have really disliked similar games.

I'll be waiting on reviews for Wargroove too. It looks interesting and I hope it's a big hit so we get a proper new Advance/Switch Wars.

I learned my lesson with Tiny Metal which is rubbish.

Tiny Metal was mechanically sound but utterly soulless. I really need to stop buying indie games at full price on day one. I'm crossing fingers for Wargroove, but will wait for reviews....

Wargroove looks lovely and would be perfect on switch. Really missing Advance Wars.

Started playing Hollow Knight yesterday. It's decent but I'm waiting for the "amazing" to kick in frankly. Feels like your typical metroidvania so far albeit a bit dark in design and tone for my liking. The whole having to buy the map mechanic (need to find the cartographer to buy the next map!) and the need to use a special compass to pinpoint where you are on the map is a bit annoying though.

It is a bit slow in the first few hours tbf, mainly because it doesn't dish out new abilities in as a quick manner as other Metroidvanias. I think it becomes "amazing" once you get a couple of the abilities and the map starts to open up.

The melancholy tone never really changes though, and it's true that having to equip a charm for the compass is perhaps unnecessary (though I don't mind the cartographer).

Has anyone bought Starlink? Iím tempted to pick up a copy from Amazon for £20 and hang onto it for my sons birthday, but Iím a little put off by the price of buying additional (physical) add-on packs, especially weapons - are they all unavailable unless you spend £15 on a box or are they in the game for everyone?

And further to that, do you feel like youíre missing out if you donít buy anything beyond the starter pack?

Haven't bought it but I know there is DLC that does what the ships do if you don't want to clutter up your house. It was on sale over Xmas, not sure if it still is.

I have starlink and its fun. The toys to life thing is total rubbish as you can only unlock new weapons etc by buying them and none at all by playing the game. So you are stuck with 3 guns unless you buy more. Its not a deal breaker for me but it would be fun to use some of the other weapons, as they all have various status effects etc. The game itself is good fun and i have enjoyed playing it. The starfox stuff is well done, but i have not finished that section so cant comment fully

I've got Starlink and my 5 year old son very much enjoys it, there's a lot there for kids from the toys to the game and story.

We've just got the base game (with star fox) and the toy itself is very well made. The game world is very well developed but the enemies seem simplistic, however for a simple co-op game with kids that is probably a good thing. However I don't like the fact that you are tethered in co-op (you can only go so far away from each other) but if I take the lead (player 1) then my son comes along for the ride until we get to the next destination so it does help in that regard.

I still see it around for £20. While I have been tempted to buy another base pack (the controller and extra ship are very good for that price) or other ships you don't have to to play the game.

I bought Starling. Not played much but initial impressions were it was lovely.

Worth it for the Arwing IMO. You get a lot of high quality tat for twenty quid.

Question all. I have had a switch since launch.

Bought a switch for the boy at Christmas, it's set up under my account with him as a supervised account.

Considering selling my switch as I don't use it. Do I need to set his switch up now as the primary? Is that even a thing?

Just don't want to lose the digital library ive purchased for when I want to dip in and out.

Just finished with my hard difficulty playthrough of Ms. Splosion Man, which means I can put it away. Too bad, actually. I wanted more. Very few games have the same balance between skill-based platforming and "rollercoasting" as Splosion Man.

Wish they had ported the first game too.

    Super Soccer
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
    Demon's Crest
    Yoshi's Island

    Kirby's Dream Course
    Pop'n Twinbee
    Star Fox
    Contra 3
    Kirby Super Star
    Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts
    Kirby's Dream Land 3
    Super Metroid
    Super Mario World
    Pilotwings
    F-ZERO
    Star Fox 2
    Super Punch-Out!!
The Legend of the Mystical Ninja

Some classics there that I've never played, having been a Sega kid before the N64. My mate used to bring his SNES round with Mario Kart and Pilotwings, but pretty sure I haven't played any of the others...

@JoelStinty Good news. I think Nintendo's Twitter Sony's have been bombarded with rage for the lack of other consoles on the service. If the SNES is on the way, they could have at least hinted at it.

Bit optimistic to think that these might all see a release this decade though, right?
