Stern pinball could be a legit bargain, though... The cheapest I've seen the gamecard is £25.
I know no-one cares, but there's always a chance... Went into Argos today and tapped in the Stern Pinball code, it says it releases this month (no day listed) and has eleven tables, so it's likely this is the same as the gamecard release for under half the price.

Is 11 tables the whole game or are there more as DLC?

Finished Mutant Mudds Deluxe today, all coins and sprites, including the ghost and granny levels. Wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Despite their reputation, the granny levels were too straightforward to really pose a challenge.

I've taken a quick look at Super Challenge and it does look like a step up, even if just more of the same. I suspect that won't be as easy to complete.

I really enjoyed Mutant Mudds. It reminded me of some of the obscure old PC platformers I played in the early 90s. It looked great in 3D, too.

I wish the Switch was in 3D. I loved the effect. I think Iím alone on that.

Indirect but Iíve been playing the messenger (on pc) for a few hours over the weekend. Itís excellent and very funnily written which was surprising. Would be a great fit on the switch for those eyeing it up.

@el_pollo_diablo I was a big fan. Not so much for the effect, but the weird sense of clarity. It didn't look like you were looking at a screen at times, which really added to the immersion.

It wasnít good enough. Perhaps only some games with quite flat presentation and some 3d-ish effect was nice.

It worked really well on the New 3DS (with the eye tracking so the 3D doesn't go away if you tilt the screen). Kind of miss it now I sold mine, I must admit.

I think there may be more. You can download Stern Pinball for free and download the tables in two rather expensive DLC bundles or individually.

The £10 download from Argos, if it ever comes in stock, will be the cheepest way of getting the first 11 tables.

Yeah I feel this way too. It really enhanced some games and made them look great despite the low resolution. Sadly, I can't see it coming back now.

I still have some games to get through on 3DS, including Luigi's Mansion 2. I love the little console, but the ergonomics don't feel great after using the Switch.

Started Syberia over the weekend, a classic adventure game I never played back in the day... when it came out in 2002 I was completely moving in to online FPS mindless blasting and left practically every other form of gaming behind, which I really fucking regret as platform / adventure / point n click was always (and still is) my true gaming love. I ignored so many great games over the next decade or so really, and the Switch is really bringing me back to those genres in an amazing way, both old and new games :)

Played Luigi 2 a few weeks ago.

Not sure if it is because Luigi has more detailed graphics than most 3DS games or if it is just me being out of practice but I struggled to maintain the 3D effect and ended turning it off.

    Hmm that's weird.

Is the game still worth playing? I bought it around launch and never got round to it. With LM3 due out later this year I think now is the time.

It's a classic! One of my favourite 3DS games. It's like a slightly casual Metroidvania and retains its charm throughout.

I'm on Act 5 atm with a Necromancer, he's served me very well. I'm not sure if I'll do the post-game stuff or not, I never did with the PS4 version, but maybe I'll give it a try this time round.

I picked it up recently too. I have been playing as a monk. It feels like eating candy or popcorn. Fun but not really filling after I am done...but addictive!

That just happens to be the same day the next two NES games go live.

Rumours say that Mario Maker 2 and a new 2D Zelda will be out this year. And that Metroid Prime Trilogy for Switch is real.
