I think $199 + VAT is only slightly less than £199 so we're not really being done over.

I see others have already pointed this out.

I wonder if there’s an active homebrew scene for the switch, might be a good emulator device?

@Fake_Blood There was on early models but the security hole has been plugged in the hardware now.

The original Tegra chip contained an integral weakness which was exploited. The Lite will be using a different chip.

I was going to point out that the Vita doesn't have Zelda, Splatoon or Mario, but the Switch doesn't have Fez or Spelunky. :(

Resi 4 for £19 in the sale. I'll bite at that price. Mugwum's tweets were making me think about getting it full price, so that discount has me hooked.

Anyone know what happened to the promised Switch version of Grid Autosport that was supposed to be coming this summer?

Rayman Legends for 10 euro is well worth it. I have the Wii U version, technically, but for that price I might as well bite again. No way I'm gonna reconnect the Wii U at any point anyway.

That and I got my tax return today, soooo...

Between that and Lego DC Super Villains, I should be busy for a while.

Fucks sake I'd just bought Rayman from eBay for £13. Would prefer digital.

Gave the DQB2 demo a quick try and man, that initial loading time is rough. Never a good sign when it looks as if the game has frozen whilst loading. Quite tempted to get it, but it seems that performance in the Switch version is pretty rough overall. :/

@Kay Well I have it on pre-order. It should arrive tomorrow, so I'll keep you posted on impressions. The first game runs absolutely fine on Switch, so I'm surprised by these apparent performance issues.

Sale is pretty good. Think I’m going to grab Stick of Truth, Splatoon, Rayman and the Zelda DLC.

The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa is an interesting little oddity, currently on sale.

Ostensibly a 2D scrolling beat em up, there’s actually a whiff of Shenmue and Persona about it, there’s a school schedule you can follow, or not, and what you do impacts which friends you meet. Fair bit of dialogue and story. Great music too.

    I saw that. Tempted.

Also Mark of the Ninja is sub-£10 on the South African eshop. Will be grabbing that tonight. Argh! I've downloaded like 5 games in the last 48 hours.

Is the Flashback remaster any good? One of my top 3 megadrive games and replaying it for under £6 is very tempting...

(Still have the cartridge at home, complete with £44.99 price tag from littlewoods!).

    Looks pretty sweet.

Not related but I'm quite tempted by the castlevania collection. Yes it's got some omissions but for it's current sale price I'm thinking it's worth it for nes/snes entries alone.

Got round to replacing my joy in release buttons today with the metal version.

All good but it didn't cure my right hand controller moving up and down on the rail even when clipped in. Think I might have to look at replacing the rails next.

At this point Switch Lite makes a strong argument to me.

So I'm loving Hollow Knight, but struggling with the Hornet. I've figured out her patterns, but can't stay alive long enough to beat her. I assume there's no trick to winning - it seems to be a simple case of 'git gud' - so I'll persevere...
