    Anyone else played Axiom Verge? I came across it when looking for something new to play on holiday. If you ever wanted a Super Metroid on the Switch, then this is that game. Really enjoyable.

    Thirded. Starts strong but gets pretty annoying by the end.

    @Tronaulddump is it really good? It looks like one of those games from a website of Flash games that puts all the warez and pornz on your PC.

    I was looking at Pillars of Eternity, thinking to myself that it looked rather like Neverwinter Nights, only to find out that an 'Enhanced Version' of the latter will be hitting the consoles in December.

    It does not look particularly enhanced.

    I loved NwN. In some ways I think I loved it more than I did Baldurs Gate, which is strange I know.

    Hyper Sentinel for 91% off... might be worth it to scratch that Commodore 64 nostalgia?

    Pillars is also buggy as hell Iíve heard. Reviews skimmed over it I believe, but people whoíve played beyond the first 5 hours or so say itís a complete mess.

    Define "complete mess".

    Not saying it isn't, but people have told me about terrible Switch ports before when my experience has basically been fine. The only borderline-unplayable port I've played on it was Wasteland 2.

    Pillars is buggy, several crashes, text unreadable (bugged out not small) and item icons often duplicate.

    I am loving it though and have put a lot of time into it and can't say it's overly bad.

    Mainly got is as I saw Planescape/Icewind Dale, Baldurs 1/2 and neverwinter were coming and got overly excited. Don't know why I've not played pillars before - it's fantastic for those who loved the infinity engine games (ME!).

    It certainly suffers from the control system and a good mouse would be great.

    I'd love an arcade compilation with no filler.

    Bubble Bobble, Gem Fighter, Elevator Action, Final Fight, Golden Axe, Turtles in Time, NBA Jam, Micro Machines and Ivan Stewart's off road arcade.

    That would do me nicely.

    I picked up Mutant Year Zero.

    I love my switch but christ I cant actually believe how awful the graphics are in hand held mode. Anyone else played it?

    Guessing it uses dynamic resolution as it's a tiny bit clearer in docked.

    I actually thought there was a problem with my switch when it booted into the first level.

    Oh man. I really wanted it on Switch. I spotted it after finishing Rabbids and it looked great.

    Do you have the patch installed?

    @PrivateFloyd

    It does look crap problem is I donít know why it does look so bad for a largely static game yet something like Mario kart a 3D game can look pin sharp

    @DangerousDave_87

    Patch installed pal yes. And devs have said on Twitter no further plans for resolution upgrades.

    It is AWFUL. tried persevering tonight as it is right up my street but its pulling me out of the game, I literally cant even tell what I'm fighting.

    Have a gander on Google there are some screenshots knocking about. Very naughty of Ninty to be peddling those in game shots on the estore.

    I would try and get a refund. I had a similar problem with american fugitive when it came out. Enemies could move into the geometry so you could never kill them. After a few emails, got a full refund. It's worth a go.
