No tentpole first party games but that doesn't surprise me. Plenty to be getting on with in the meantime anyway.

I'm one of those unfortunate people that never got round to playing XC, so I'm kind of lucky I guess that for me it is a tentpole game. Really looking forward to it. A week after TLOU2 mind you.

I honestly consider XC to be the best JRPG I've ever played - better than Grandia II, Skies of Arcadia, any Persona or any Final Fantasy.

You're in for a treat (though I only played it once through in 2011).

Borderlands 1,2 and presequel coming to switch end of may in one collection. Just hope they run significantly better than bl2 did on the vita.

Yeah I missed the boat on XC. When I went to play it I couldn't get hold of it aside for some ridiculously high prices. I really enjoyed XC2 so looking forward to this a lot.

I would of preferred any other burnout tbh. Didn't like paradise. Im probably in the minority that feels burnout shouldn't be open world.

Episode 1 pod racer :D loved the N64 game. Remember renting it from Blockbuster for a week.

Bravely Default looks beautiful. Don't think I can't commit to any more RPGs though! That Job game looked hilarious, though!

If anyone gets Good Job (for themselves) or Gigantosaurus (for their kid/s) in the next few days let me know.

Not sure whether to drop my remaining credit on those or Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze (which I suspect may be a bit challenging for my 5 year old, but he seems keen!)

I haven't played the others but DKTF is pretty fucking hard, definitely not 5 year old territory!

    @BigOrkWaaagh Agreed.

Yoshi is probably good for a 5 year old. Saying that it depends how long the 5 year old has been playing games. My 5 year old daughter hasnít long been playing games much, she struggles using the right stick to turn the camera, but she plays Mario Kart with assists and Paw Patrol.

Yoshi is a good shout. Failing that perhaps Kirby?

Also did anyone else think that Ninja game looked a lot like Splatoon? FtP though - yuk!

Shiren 5 confirmed for Switch. Probably a port of the Vita version with extra features.

As far as Mystery Dungeon games go, this should be in the upper echelon. I put almost 100 hours in the DS version, the idea of losing all my progress doesn't exactly enthrall me. But since I haven't touched the cartridge in years, I'll consider it anyway, if it's not too expensive.

@BigOrkWaaagh I played it on the Wii U and thought it was definitely easier than Returns. Didn't have too much trouble with it, not even in the bonus stages. I'm not saying it was easy, but I'd hesitate to call it especially hard too.

Mind, I didn't find Returns all that hard either, so maybe I'm just good with this kind of games? (but strangely, any 2D Mario kicks my ass without mercy)

@BigOrkWaaagh he's completed Mario Maker 2, Luigi's Mansion 3, Mario Odyssey (+ the dark moon bit) and Yoshi so far.

Mario Bros Deluxe has been the trickiest one and I guess that's probably nearest to DK.

Surprised more hasn't been made of this tbh, but the whole of Arms is free to download and play until 6th April for NSO subscribers. I know it's an old game now, but still, it's a first for Nintendo and a pretty generous length of time to play.

Interesting. I was looking at rebuying the ds version but I'll wait for the Switch release. I recall the ds version being incredibly hard, right from the very start of the game.

Why on Earth are they releasing Trails of Cold Steel 3 but not the first 2 parts?

Would have liked to play the whole trilogy. No point just playing the third part.

    Wow, wow, wow!!

    Burnout Paradise! Borderlands!! Bioshock!!!

Can't wait. Adding in Xcom, Xenoblade Chronicles, the only way this could have been better would be to announce Portal/Portal 2!!
