Yeah, I remember when I solved my first puzzle with the slcribbles I had made on paper. That was the moment this game became an all time favourite. I cant think of many games that are so immersive that you're still engrossed in the game when looking down at your notes.

Utterly obsessed with Grindstone at the moment (quite late to the party), up to level 30 now and in fear of the game becoming simply too challenging, but hanging in there! Cleared every level with full completion so far and would like to continue that for as long as possible.

The difficulty does continue to edge up a bit, but it just makes you play better and more tactically. I got to lvl 100 or do before I had to go cold turkey :)

    Same.

That was the moment it went from great to oh my god this is something truly special. A game that somehow felt important.

And yeah the numbers are slap yourself obvious when they click. (But the really impressive thing is they donít click straight away. Or at least not for me).

I hit the same hurdle with the numbers. Theres what looks like a pattern for the first 4, but then theres a slightly more subtle pattern for the whole set of numbers.

I thought I had it figured out, until I used it to solve the bell tower puzzle. I could solve that, but the last number was unexpectedly lower (I thought it was hexadecimal, so from 0 to 15, but the one on the clock goes to 10). In the end I accidentally came across the solution on the internet... (I should have been stronger :()

Only two more cubes to go, but they're a bit of drag :( (I really had to look them up, they are the last two on the clock tower)

Oh yeah. The clock tower ones are a bit of a chore. I definitely cheated those once I figured them out.

I watched the SpawnWave video that references and he didnít say they had info on Switch OLED screens. More that a OLED screen manufacturer said they had brought development costs down and wouldnít it be great if a Switch Pro had an OLED screen. Invest in us please, it will be good for you, hint, hint.

I do wonder what Nintendo will do next. No doubt a ďproĒ Switch but what about after that?

Iím hoping theyíll just keep the Switch going, releasing new models but itís Nintendo. Theyíll probably make something pants next.

I reckon the Switch Pro isn't going to happen any time soon, if at all. Why would they when the current iteration is still flying off the shelves?

Nvidia have announced that they're discontinuing production of the Tegra X1. I imagine that's probably the biggest reason.

Only just booted up Fez to see how it ran and it's got me all excited again. I need to hurry up and finish 3D World and Pikmin 3 again! My backlog is pretty ridiculous because I'm still playing Splatoon and Aninal Crossing regularly.

I'm never going to be able to play anything ever again. Divinity 2 is massive haha. Just got to the second island after a big fight on the boat.

Did anyone pick up Famicom Detective Club last week? I've been playing it slowly since release and think it's great, looked superb from the Direct so glad I got stuck in!

@THFourteen not sure that some busines guy saying he has seen reports of a new switch Pro count as a new source of the rumour, rather than a reminder the rumour exists.

I thought it looked really good from the direct but the price is just ludicrous imo.

Charged up a 2DS XL for my weekend, wanted to play Monster Hunter Stories.

Forget how much i loved the 3DS form factor. Goes straight in the pocket, no issues, no scuffed screen.

@THFourteen even the XL fits straight into your pocket?

To this day I regret going for the standard new 3DS over the XL. Those damn faceplates swayed me.

Could fit an original XL in my pockets fine. I think the 'new' nofel had the same dimensions.

I finished Manifold Garden earlier - ticking off another game from my List of Shame :)

While I thought it was very clever and looked great, it was a bit repetitive and dull at time. I enjoyed it, but wouldn't say I agree with EG's Essential/10 rating.

I'll see if I can finish Spiritfarer next, I think...

So Nintendo should just wait until it falls off and then decide to release something? Worked great for Wii U.

I donít think it should mean they should just rest on their laurels. At some point interest/sales will start to drop off. Keep things fresh and release new stuff. Weíre well beyond the period of consoles must have X years lifecycle.

The Switch is well over four years old now, and coming up to five by the time the predicted Switch Pro would be released. That's more than long enough for a console refresh imo, no matter how well it's doing. All of their successful portable consoles have had a slight refresh around the 3-4 year mark.
