Looks great. Despite the negative reports on the last page latest is it's scored much higher than the first with test audiences

I'm not sure how much faith I have in 'test audiences' after they scored shite like Justice League highly.

What Cosmic said. JL truly is one of the worst films that I have seen, it looks a bit cheap at times and the plot on the whole makes no sense. I'm optimistic about Deadpool 2 but maybe the original was just a fluke because the expectations weren't there, now the pressure is on.

Test audiences are just spin. I think it was GotG 2 where they did a test with an audience full of Disney employees and their families!

Just a way of getting positive buzz.

    When I was a Marvel reader I loved Cable & X-Force ... but I didn't like Deadpool

    :(

    Also, why not Ron Perlman?

Looks like more of the same which is fine. As they wisely point out a 3rd one would be too much.

Indeed. As are premature announcements about further sequels, "leaked reviews" and fake enthusiasm from cast members based on footage that they've seen. It's all part of (dishonest) marketing strategy, aimed at giving a false impression of genuine praise. It's similar to the way that infomercials hire actors to praise products in front of a camera in the guise of "normal passers-by".

Personally, I don't even trust online reviews anymore. I believe Disney and a number of other studios have an unhealthy amount of influence over the professional ones, and I find that the amateur review segment is too tainted by fanboy communities who seek to distort perceptions (not to mention the astroturfers).

It does sound like the X-Force film has been benched and that DP2 incorporates what X-Force was supposed to be. That, or the rumours about the X-Force film were bollocks to begin with.

They're doing a New Mutants one aren't they?

Given New Mutants became X-Force in the comics perhaps between DP2 and the NM movie there's no space for a standalone X-Force one too

Yeah they're selling it as a kind of horror film in a sense.

I'm almost ashamed to say I'm really looking forward to seeing Shatterstar in live-action. One of the main reasons I want to see the film.

One of my favourite x-men, was happy to see him confirmed as being in the movie.

As someone who got a blast out of seeing Sunspot turn up in one of the X-Men films the idea of Shatterstar kicking ass is fine by me

Which got me so excited until I found out it was going to be aimed at 12 year olds. That's the fastest way to turn me off from a 'horror' film, by making it a 12A.

Jack Kesy role has been completely cut apparently which is odd as he was the main villain

He seems to have taken the concept of "bulking up" for a super hero role the wrong way.

Loved when he called him Thanos haha.

Watched the first again the other night and although It's never going to be my favourite hero movie - I love just chilling out to this.

Good trailer. Really enjoyed DP. I just hope this one doesn't take itself too seriously...
