2-1 to Juve. As long as Liverpool lose, I don't really mind.

I never thought I'd cheer for a f**king Italian team, but Ibrahimovic plays for them, so umm... *coughs*: Go Juve!

    3-0 to Juventus.

0-0, pretty boring game, both taking it easy so as not to cause a riot.....which will inevitably follow in the return leg.

    Crikey! 1-0 to Liverpool.

It's all Liverpool so far, I'm rather surprised.

    Wow what a goal!

2-0 Liverpool and they could score more tonight I think.

Btw., when will the english people realise that the time that only "non-english" players dived is a thing of the past? :/

Never, because the premiership is man's league with manly English men! The only divers in the premiership are girly foreigners! :-)

Liverpool have been fantastic so far - they've set a real tempo and harassed Juve into rushing their play.

Should be a great 2nd half.

I'm a Man Utd fan and I have to admit I'm enthralled.

An Italian making a dive accusation, how ironic.

'Scousers v Divers'? That's almost as clever as 'Eurogamer vs Gamefaqs'.

    Not quite. ;)

I'm not saying that Premiership players don't dive, they do. It's just that Italian teams excel at it.

Well if that's the case, it should be 'Divers v Divers' then shouldn't it?

How'd you like it if I started a 'English Louts vs Italians' thread?

At the European Championship in Portugal, Ashley Cole and Michel Owen dived more than all the players in the other teams put tohether, so, yes, you are kidding yourselves.

I didn't see a single dive from Juventus last night, so I don't know what the Hell you're on.

That being said, I hate Juventus. All the other italian teams at least show some skill that you can enjoy, even if they don't score much either. But Juventus seems poised to sedate the other team, by playing really slowly and relaxed, like the match would not be at all important. Basically they're boring the opposition to death.

In the first half, the Liverpool players weren't fooled and they choked the italians with their pace, but after the second goal they relaxed and lost the plot. Then, as usual, Juve scored a goal out of nothing and saved their chances. Bah.

Yeah, it's not the same Juventus team as when Roberto Baggio played there. Those were the days!
