Finally got my Cube after months of bitching and moaning. My best man was meant to get me one but his missus said no way. So instead he gave me a cheque for €200. So managed to get me ass up to Dublin on Tuesday. Popped into game looking for a Metroid pack (Cube + Metroid + Another Game[SMS and a few others] for €199.99) but the basts had none left. Snotty nosed little bast in Game was going on and on on about how mad I was wanting a Cube. Felt like telling the little shit to f*ck off back under his rock. One of the other guys recommended going across the way to Dixons. So off I toddled, oh boy were they doing a clear out or what. Here is pretty much what they had left in the shop. The had 2 Cubes left @ €99, 1 copy of Metroid @ €39.99, SMS @ €29.99 and a Memory Card 251 @ €24.99. Giving a grand total of €193.97. Promptly put down the money and went back in to said Snotty little bast. He was agast. Thank you Dixons. Still haven't had a chance to even take it out of the box though, officially I'm still on Honeymoon. So the rule is no games, and Zelda is out tomorrow  Life is just not fair. |

Registered 19 years agoIf you do somehow get bored after MP and Zelda, you can quite often find Dixons/High Street Electrical Shop selling Eternal Darkness for £30. Another top GC game that seems to get overlokked in the roundups of games to get. Thats my most played GC game (mind you I have SMS too, and that just pissed me off). -

Registered 20 years agoBeen considering some cube action myself for a while - but everywhere in central london seems to be either sold out or sticking to the higher price bracket. Anyone who has info to the contrary, pass it on. -

Last I heard, Oxford St Argos had them in stock today, and at the lower price too.

Black may show up the dust more, but it kinda looks "in place" with the rest of the stuff (PS2, Xbox etc)
Doesn't sit well with the PS1 and the DC though (both that horrible "grey" colour).

Registered 20 years agoNah just on honeymoon for the past three weeks Keys. No surfing allowed by order of Da'missus I'm afraid. She's gone back to work today and I am a gentleman of leisure for another couple of weeks until the new job starts. In the meantime I will be gone goggle eyed playing Metroid, SMS, SMB, and Zelda. (Still haven't even taken the Cube out of the box yet). -

Registered 20 years agoDang want an iMac myself now they are cool machines. My beige PC is really fugly.
On the black thing have to agree it is probably the best colour. Anyhew have the little thing finally set-up and sitting between my black sitting room TV and hi-fi, aw it looks so cute. Thought it might get intimidated by the PC and Xbox and the missus wants to play it too so it's going to stay there.
Had a blast at SMB for a few minutes when the missus was away. Great fun. Just about to open the packaging on Metroid and give that a go tonight. I think I will leave Zelda until I am a little more awake.
Got a 4Gamers wireless controller for it today and so far it is very good. -
