    My body asked for this.

PC / PS4 / Xbox One. Adam Jensen is the playable character.

So pumped for this, Human Revolution was amazing and it's DLC, The Missing Link, was sublime. As long as they don't do stupid, crappy boss fights, and by that I mean getting another random company to make them, then this should be great!

Fingers crossed they get Michael McCann back for soundtrack duties... That was far and away my favourite part of the previous game, which isn't to say the rest of it was at all bad. (apart from the boss fights of course...)

The boss fight at the end of the Missing Link DLC, which was actually made by the original team, was pretty decent - you could one hit snipe him from miles away, reprogram turrets to kill him for you etc. It felt more like a Deus Ex style fight, where there were lots of approaches to doing it. I'd rather they didn't have them at all, but if they do have them they need to be flexible and to allow for interesting, creative and varied approaches. Not just bullet sponge fights which stupidly penalise people who have been doing a stealth and hacking focused playthrough.

The soundtrack for Human Revolution was fantastic. I actually have it on my ipod and listen to it (and Fez) in bed when I'm having trouble sleeping

Yeah the music at the startup of the game, would sit there for ages before actually pressing start just to hear it every time. Magnificent.

Edit: listening to it now, literally called "Main Menu", super stuff.

I guess they'll have to think of some excuse for Jensen losing all his augs. Can't have you starting off too powerful.

One thing I know is that there is next to no chance I'll be bothering with any no alarms/no lethal kill etc trophies this time round.

Looks lovely. Slightly more open cities would be nice though. The original felt like it had more options going on at times.

You'd think the developers would know how to say it without it sounding rude.

@ubergine Definitely. Had it on 360 but never got around to finishing it even though I thought it was brilliant.

The Director's Cut that they released later sounded great too.

Would make sense after all. Square Enix have done it with Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs.

The directors cut isn't all that different, aside from some extra options for bosses for those (like me) that are going for non-lethal playthroughs. You still have to kill them, though.

    Bring back Elias Toufexis, please.
    He IS Adam Jensen.

You know what, let's just go ask Sutherland to voice him.

How can Jensen be back? It's like my choices don't matter at all.

I would guess 2016. "Deus Ex 3" was initially announced in 2007 but there wasn't a subtitle (Human Revolution) or a teaser trailer till 2010. The game was then released one year later in April 2011.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess late spring 2016.
