I've only got 3 reasons that I'm keeping hold of my PS3. Uncharted trilogy that I wanted to play through again for again, playing through the Mass Effect trilogy again (alreadymid way through 2), and Skyrim which I think I'm done with.

Could be time to sell up.

Just played through them again on PS3 and they function well enough for me so no sale. Xbox only folks from last gen are in for a treat though.

It's not announced and may not be true but it looks pretty fucking likely, the team that remastered Ico/SotC and Gow are working on remastering "something" from PS3 to PS4.
Very likely to be this, especially with the UC4 delay and lack of first party stuff from Sony.

As someone who came very close to dipping into this generation last year but realised it was only ports of last gen games I am very glad I stayed out now!

To you guys who have PS4s and Xbox Ones doesn't this continuing trend piss you off a little? It seems all the interesting and innovative games are cropping up on PC these days.

I have my PS4 for the odd exclusive such as the amazing Bloodborne and the Onesie for the likes of Sunset Overdrive but it's all about the Wii U and PC.

Depends on how much you play / what you play. Personally it doesn't bother me. Most of the games I've bought for the PS4 have been multiformat / multigen. Double dipped for TLoU and GTA, but the lick of paint and how much I get out of them (particularly GTA) has been worth it. Add a surprise title like Bloodborne that I wouldn't normally play.

Had I only bought this gen for exclusives then yes, I'd probably have been a little cheesed. That said I do have a Wii U too so I've played a good variety of games this past year.

I don't think a remastered Uncharted Trilogy (or a Mass Effect trilogy) will have been a surprise to anyone though. In fact I remember people talking about it last year like it was a cert that it'd come about.

I'd be tempted by this just for a superior version of Uncharted 2 and 3. Uncharted 1 can get fucked though.

would be nice to play through UC1-3 before 4 is released. Not sure I have the patience to slog through 3 again though.

Would like to play 2 again, not that bothered about 1 or 3. Would definitely consider it if they get some nice multiplayer modes in there like the Halo collection.

As much as I want this, the cover is fake, so likely the whole thing is.

The 'only on Playstation' bit is the PS3 style. On PS4, it's in the blue banner.

Yeah, the cover looks crap but there's a reasonable chance that there's something to it.

Blue poinr are "currently bringing a Sony classic to current game systems."

Uncharted follows the template of so many trilogies, 1 - Good, 2-Great, 3-Good but a letdown.

3 only really suffers from a narrative point of view, i think they fixed the shooting which was awkward at launch. I remember playing 2 and thinking at the time - "This is the best fucking sequel ever" The jump from U1 to U2 is huge in terms of graphics, set pieces and story..

Even if this is a fake, it's surely got to be on the cards anyway.

Bluepoint did a fantasic job with the MGS remasters last gen, so I'll be happy if they are indeed working on this.

Only played the first one. Recently bought a PS4 , so will probably get this if the news is genuine. Makes sense to release it if they're making Uncharted 4, as well as TLOU remaster.
