That time of year again, you are either a winner or a lasagne.

So who are people going for?

    Picked out 6

    Balthazar King
    St Are
    Soll
    Rocky Creek
    Alvorado
    Shutthatdoor

    Get Gok Wan to fuck.

Well, going to so far, I've picked two winners in Whisper (Race 2) and Sizing Granite (Race 3) so I've already made my money back for my national bets. Today is all profit already!

I went for a couple with reasonably long odds. Why the hell not. :)

Have a small bet on Druid's Nephew; wife has Rocky Creek again after watching it lead most of last years.

I got Druids Nephew and Balthazar King. Think both are destined for the dog food factory.

@wrinkly Depends on the odds you got, it's then usually 1/4 odds for e/w bets plus your original stake

I'll have to dig out the ticket, I put the bet on last week, along with my picks for Augusta. (Els, Rose and Casey), so can't remember exactly what it was, I think it was something like 40 to 1?

Assuming you had 25/1, you win 312.50 plus your 20 back.

    If 40/1, its 500 plus your 20!

I don't bet very often, but seem to win quite often. Probably because I've led a blameless life.
