IMHO a dreadful person to do it, bloody Michael Bay.. as far as im concerned he's made some of the worst crap to hit cinema screens over the last few years.

I like his films. They're good turn-your-brain-off movies. whether he could do a transformers flick though..? Not really his style I don't think.

Is it going to be live-action?

Damn fine choiceif you ask me. He can do big spectacle movies with aplomb. It's not liek you'd go to see a Trnasformers film for deep revelations about the human condition, you wanna see big things blow up even bigger things. Something the boy Bay does well.

Yes but he's obsessed with putting all the extra trash in there too.. you'd think it's a movie he cant screw up really, i reckon he'll prove that wrong.

Ever since that Citroen advert with the dancing car came out, I knew this film would be on the cards.

I looked forward to it with excitement, but more importantly fear. My fears have been realised.

Please don't fuck this up :o(

i've only seen a couple of michael bay's films and have quite enjoyed them, so i don't have any real issues with him being on board. my problem so far is that they are saying that megatron aint gonna be a gun anymore. most likely going for the tank style like in g2/armada/other-shitty-version. you can't make a film based on the g1 characters then fecking fundamentally change what they are. bumblebee being a new model vw, sideswipe being a diablo or murcialago (spleling, liek i caer) maybe even soundwave being a psp or something. but megatron is a gun. a fucking really really really powerful gun. to be wielded by his second in command. not a FUCKING TANK!!!!!!1!!!!!!!111

You've obviously never heard the Sleepy monologues about the decline of respect for leaders and the cancellation of Transformers ;)

Can you imagine Michael bay directing a purely cgi film?
