No surprise at all. Second series was meant to be drongo but that doesn't mean that this one will be.

The second series got rid of every element that made the first so unique and compelling

I am hoping for good things, the first season was superb and the second had potential but wasn't a great watch.

First season went off a cliff with the last three episodes.
Second season was absolute shit (my love for Vince Vaughn kept me watching until there was 20 minutes left of the final episode)
I'm guessing the third season will be on par with the first.
Some great episodes capped off with a thoroughly unsatisfying final three episodes.

BUT I do like a good cop show so bring it on. I'll pirate the shit out of it.

I have a Taylor Kitsch fetish so I enjoyed bits of S2. The shootout ep was well done, as was the sex party raid. That's it really.

Looks great.

The setting was so important in the first and this looks like it's going to tap into that small town American weirdness.

Only seen Mahershala Ali in a couple of things but he's got plenty of praise and awards and I got plenty of time for Stephen Dorff.

I'm on-board.

I like that they gave Nic Pizzolatto time to write this time around. Season two could have been good with a lot of editing and polishing.

Season 3 started last week US-side, think it starts tonight on Sky Atlantic.

Grabbed the first yarr, to watch on my break this morning, nice strong opening and here's hoping they manage to nail some sort of ending this time. Third time's a charm etc...

Yeah, didn't realise this was about to start. Loved the first season, one of my all time favourites, so high hopes here.

Edit - There's the first two episodes tonight 9pm to 11.20pm for anyone recording.

Caught the first episode of this last night and thought it was decent enough, although not exactly on the edge of my seat.

Anyone else find the audio was a bit off? I was really struggling to hear the dialogue at times.

Never actually got around to watching S2 after hearing how bad it was meant to be. Enjoyed S1 for the most part.

S2 is worth watching for the stupid dialogue from Vince Vaughn's character alone.

It's mostly crap, but enjoyably crap in places.
