Somehow it improved on second viewing.

Picked up the 3d bluray just so I can watch in VR. Appreciate the quality wont be great but its the closest I'll get to rewatching in the cinema. Looking forward to it.

Whoops. Had to nip to tesco for some groceries and the 4k blu ray fell into my basket.

    :-)

Despite falling into my amazon "basket" a few weeks ago it still doesn't seem to have fallen into a Jiffy bag -_-

Oops my bad apparently it has.

    A silly question...

Can my PS4 play 4K Bluray on my 1080p TV?

Pretty certain PS4 won't decode 4K..... happy to be corrected though.

Though if PS4 can play 4K then I'll be annoyed as I don't buy any 4K at the moment - still on trad BD.

I'm not sure I qualify with any of that these days sadly.

Thanks. That is good to know.

Not that I'll be buying a 4K TV any time soon.

Did you succeed? I went to pre-order earlier last week and ended up purchasing a copy via eBay this morning for a small premium (to be a present for a friend).

So, as a warning to those (like me) who were looking forward to the apparently awesome Atmos track - the UK Blu-ray doesn't have one. I'm pretty annoyed to be honest, particularly as all the review sites said it did.

I didn't think Leto is awful, but I wish, I wish, I wish David Bowie had been able to do it.

I normally hate long films but I never found this one a slog, not for a second.

Does this work then? On PSVR? I have a few 3D Blurays, might have to give it a go.

Yeah completely disagree on shortening it, you prepare for a long session, get your mindset right, sit back and enjoy those lovely vis. No rush at all, it's a lovely beautiful slow film that plods along at a pretty pace.

Spark up a joint for additional enhancements.

    It looks lovely.

I wouldn't buy many films on uhd disc, but this is totally worth it.

Yeah I worry about the running time too, can't really criticise that without seeing it but that's quite a time commitment for me these days.

Hmm. Maybe I should have just taken a stroll into town. That said, the seller who I purchased my copy from is now selling them for £99 :o
