    @Saul_Iscariot

Fucking hell, talk about over saturation. The last thing I want from Star Wars.

As long as the main trilogy is fine it doesn't really matter to me, they can do as many spinoffs as they like if it doesn't impact the quality of the rest.

    It's been confirmed as fake.

Edit: It's also blindingly obvious to me. Feet/Solo the name of the film? Really? Also the Balance of the Force is way to sensible a subtitle.

They did the same last year for the DC films.

Surely Star Wars and over saturation go hand in hand.

6 seasons of Clone Wars, 2 of Rebels, a metric fuck tonne of toys and spin off comics, books and oven gloves. Star Wars hasn't left the shelves since the very first movie.

That said, I don't think one new film a year for the next six years is too bad as it looks like outside of the Episodes they'll have a different feel. Which is more than can be said for most of the Marvel movies and people still love those.

(obviously if you weren't being sarcastic ;))

Haha, as if Fett (slash) Solo would be an actual title of a film. That's not even a good working title.

Having pretty much missed Star Wars when it was around (Revenge of the Sith is the one that really got me into it making me then see the original trilogy for the first time), I'm all for as many new Star Wars films as possible, especially ones with old characters in and extra especially anything with Darth Vader in. Even as an 11(ish) year old who'd never seen the OT, seeing Darth Vader at the end of Revenge of the Sith was an awesome moment!

I wouldn't really care for a "Kenobi" movie though, I just don't think that'd be all that interesting. I'd much prefer the story of The Force Unleashed to be turned into a movie or something set even before the PT like KOTOR.

@MatMan562 The expanded universe novel Kenobi is brilliant. It is what happens to Kenobi at the start of his exile to Tatooine. In my head I pictured it as very much a spaghetti western type of film. I've just finished reading Scoundrels, which is pretty much a Han Solo version of Oceans Eleven. I don't mind spin off films, but I want them to have their own identity. As long as they are aesthetically a Star Wars film then they should try and broaden the scope of the previous films.

I'm sure they came out and said there was no jedi's/force in this rogue one spin off. Looked at the linked "leak", makes the further posts make more sense.

From what I understand, Vader's not 'in' it as such. He'll appear as a hologram or something but they may put him into the final 10 mins.

What is kind of interesting is that they would do a whole set of Solo, Kenobi type films but this seems more like a one-off stand alone film.

Of course, they could get other missions.

    That's better :D

On topic of the leaked film schedule - a Kenobi film is probably the one Star Wars film I DONT want to see.

Was it? That's ok then! Him & Yoda, for me, where worse than Anakin in the prequels.

That article makes the photo seem better - I thought it was about a squadron - not bounty hunters hired by the rebels. Not what I wanted, little bit disappointed, but Firefly in Star Wars is fine by me.

Ah… that must be what that MP tweeted about earlier this week when he mentioned seeing the Death Star. There was a photo taken from the ground level, over to the left of that viewpoint.

Like the look of the main lady, the others not so much. Doesn't look as glossy as other Star Wars but I understand that's the kind of look they are going for. There will need to be aspects of art style borrowed in parts from the original trilogy though for it to feel part of the same universe.

There's an update at the bottom of the article. It's not that interesting to be honest.
