| Anyone have any recomendations on a decent portable DVD player with around a 7" screen? Ideally around 100-130. I've asked elsewhere and was told to go for a panasonic but they cost way too much. So I'd appreciate opiions on other brands. Also has anyone tried this player http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.aspx/TruHome/TruHomeEntertainment/TruHomeEntertainmentTVDVDVideo/TruHomeEntertainmentTVDVDVideoDVDPlayers/814261 . |

It's not the thinnest thing ever, but I don't need to lug it about with me so i'm not fussed.
I actually use it as my only dvd player. I usually use it to watch stuff while I play games (2 birds, one stone), and if I wanted to watch tv/play console games on it, I can use the AV input.
Remote, 5.1 output, svideo out, Av in, dual headphone sockets, easily hacked to multiregions (what player isn't these days eh?)
I only have one gripe:
You can't charge the battery and use the player at the same time. The battery uses a charging unit between it and thr powersupply, and the charging unit uses the cable that the battery used to connect to the player. There should be a physical "dock" for the battery, rather then sliding it on and plugging it in seperately. -
Does anyone know of a decent priced player that will play vcds? -
