Registered 13 years agoAlmost $250,000 in under a hour and a half.... David Hayter at $850,000.... -
Shouldn't you be off filming Gogglebox or something?...
Backed this as well. Playing Guacamelee the past few days has reminded me just how much I love a bit of Metroidvania -

Registered 15 years agoI backed it. Love Metroidvania games and Guacamelee and Strider were both great. 2017 seems like a long way away!
Shaking my head at the people going $28 is too much for an entry fee. It's $28 for a game that will come out in 2017, get a hold of yourself and start saving, it won't be hard. -

Registered 13 years ago@Tuffty My initial thought was it was a bit expensive, when you consider its a digital download of an indie game, but then I went and got the physical version, I imagine it wont have a huge run and itll be a nice collectable -

Registered 15 years agoYeah I got the physical version too. I'm treating this as a unique property, a game made by someone I really respect, who hasn't made this type of game in a long time and it's for that type of game I really want to play. To that end, I'm happy to lend it support in order to see it get made. If you care about the project then prove it. If you don't have faith or can only be cynical or sceptical how do you expect publishers to get behind it? That's what Kickstarters are like this are for - a show of support. Worst that happens if you just back the $28 tier is that you lose $28 spread across approx 2 years.
Hope they're thinking of more stretch goals. They will easily hit $850k in the time left.

This kickstarter is going to go through the roof. . Now David Hayter is in it its a real two finger to Konami. -
80% of the game is being paid for by a publisher. I think I will wait and see before I buy the game
If it was a full kick starter it would have my money (also $65 for the pysical copy is too high imo) -

Registered 13 years agoUp to £2,250,000 Now, liking the sound of the retro level but I'm even mire interested in what the 'classic mode' might be. Hopefully it'll make the remaining 250k to achieve it. -

Registered 19 years agoSo, a Vita version looks increasingly likely with only around $100k to go and a week left. Excellent!
Next up: partially orchestrated soundtrack at $3.75m. -

Registered 15 years agoI'm thinking of upping my backing just to get an orchestrated soundtrack; especially with Michiru Yamane behind the scenes of this. -

Registered 15 years agoOnly 9 hours left for this. I wonder if they'll make the 5m mark! -

Registered 19 years agoQuite likely. If you add the Paypal donations they are already well over 5m, and they are still getting a couple of $thousand per minute. The only question is how many of the pledges won't go through.

Registered 19 years agoAnd the campaign ended at a little over $5.5m last night, which means that every single stretch goal has been met. Can't wait for 2017! -

Registered 13 years agoHad an email about them cancelling the wiiu version and allowing you to swap to switch or another version instead. Happy to have it on switch now for the TV/portability aspect it will surely be the best version, assuming it runs well -

Registered 13 years ago@richarddavies well yes, there is that.... which I admittedly forgot about.... still, I'll just forget all about it for a while again. The day it finally comes will be a momentous one. To have it delayed by a year at least shows they give a shit about quality, and the kickstarter updates are usually pretty good. I wasn't particularly blown away with the demo though, hopefully it will have a bit more character and graphical quality when it releases, they got a hell of a lot of money for a 2d platformer, it'd better be fantastic ! -

Registered 15 years agoI'm quite happy this has moved to the Switch. I had previously opted for a Vita version but the Switch is likely to become my handheld of choice from now on. Plus, to have it okay on the big screen is a boon. Looking forward to this even though it's still a year away. -

Well, It's 2019 and here we are, considerably older but with a release date and a whole new art style. It looks soooo much better now than the demo.

Registered 13 years agoYeah, the time has snuck up on me. Cant believe it's out next month! Think I'll get it on switch. I like the portability factor. -
The Switch version is coming a week later than the other versions. Might be able to squeeze in the other Bloodstained game before hand!
