Registered 8 years ago@minky-kong wish i could offer some advice but i completely fluked it against him and as such i didn't even learn him. He seems to have multiple elemental phases. I just stocked up on healing and sort of brute forced my way through. -

Registered 13 years agoI struggled on some of the bosses on this. Bastard hard game at points but I somehow (probably by luck rather than skill) got through it. -

Most bosses are fairly straightforward with the right shard and right level of the shard. There are of course decent vids and tips online. I recall seeing a few that makes that boss fight a cake walk.

Registered 13 years ago"Beat" him tonight, cheesed it by using invert to stand on the ceiling and then chipped away at him with a greatsword. Didn't feel great to do it that way, but at least I can move on. -

Registered 9 years agoYeah, going on the ceiling is a pretty solid solution for a lot of bosses. I'm not sure the developers designed them with inverting in mind. -

Registered 13 years agoFuck me, the last boss just commits all kinds of cardinal sins of excruciating game design. Multi-stage that you have to start from the beginning each time. Long cutscene on each attempt you have to skip through with multiple button pressed. Really bad hit detection on the second stage boss too.
I was enjoying this game in the early stage, but the last third has been absolute AIDS. -

Registered 8 years ago@minky-kong Yeah. Again I brute forced stage 1 but stage 2 took a few tries til I could get it down. It was a PITA. The last chunk of this game soured for me too. That last two levels in particular I thought were baws. -

Registered 8 years agoYeah, my memories of the latter part of the game aren't particularly positive now I think about it a few weeks after finishing. -
Played a bit of Bloodstained: curse of the moon 2 this evening. Really enjoying it so far. Just more, well made old school castlevania action which I'm a suckered for. Will try and play some of the 2 player tomorrow with my lad.
