Something happened in the opening game! Canada are boring 1-0 specialists and it shows.

They do like their long shots and there's no overlapping. Canucks have loads of space on the right but doing sod all with it. Not aggressive enough with the wingbacks. But then they are Canadians.

And Canada continue to be boring. Germany v Ivory Coast today show have some goals.

On terrestrial here in the UK. Don't know about Switzerland, but guessing the players' shorts aren't tight enough so they won't cover it.

I know it's an easy tap in, but honestly, the standard is really poor. Like pub team Sunday league level. I'm sure there are a handful of them that can could some impressive keepy uppies or whatever, but fuuuucccck this is bad.

@graysonavich I do wonder what level this Germany team would play at in the men's game. The score line in this game will be huge if Germany can start hitting the target.

Haha. Such a blatant penalty but the ref clearly feels sorry for them.

Actually some nice link up play by the Germans there, but IC clearly horrendous.
