Glad there is more attention and appreciation at the women's football game. Also, here in the Netherlands they broadcast every game. More and more people are exited about it. Which is great, in my opinion.
Yeah, generally no media have ever given a shit about it at home.

Me and my girlfriend moved to Canada earlier this year, and she literally thought this was the first ever women's world cup.

Jonathon Pearce is a serious bell end of a commentator.
As for all the “Oh, they’re so shit compared to England”...

@Armoured_Bear yeah, when England play, he normally heaps praise on their opponents and how ‘England can’t make these mistakes at this level’ type stuff.

Not keen on him or John Inverdale

Unless there's a huge upset I can't see any result on Sunday other than a US victory

It could even be like in Canada where a well ranked and respected opponent gets absolutely blitzed and the games over before they know what's hit them.

Not as high scoring but a similar effect

Commentators and pundits wind me up with their “game management” shite. They’re basically encouraging time-wasting.

Utterly cringeworthy, English commentators really are the complete worst.

FIFA saw fit to implement new handball rules for this World Cup.
It doesn’t have to be deliberate

Failure for Phil Neville then, hardly surprising with his management experience..
