I wonder if he'll go straight back to jail or stay in house arrest till sentencing... If it's 25 to life, I suppose you may as well get on with it.

I can see him ending his life. He seems the sort. I'd be tempted if I were facing life in a South African prison.

I followed the case quite closely and thought there was enough evidence to convict him of murder or at least a much longer manslaughter sentence, but then I'm not a South African judge.
