PFA Nominations

    From the beeb:

Captain John Terry, goalkeeper Petr Cech and midfielder Frank Lampard have all been shortlisted for the award.

They are joined by last year's winner, Arsenal striker Thierry Henry, Crystal Palace striker Andrew Johnson and Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard.

Johnson is the token non-top club nomination. Got to be Terry in my book, although Frank comes close. Still, unsuprisingly Chelsea dominate the list.

Andy Johnson is still the highest scoring Englishman though isn't he? I know Palace are on their way out of the Premiership but not to include him would have been a bit silly.

I'd probably put Lampard before Terry.

Lampard as well. But probably more to do with him seeming to be everywhere whilst Terry is not as free to leave his position.
