I didn't have my headset on, but I could hear you mate heh... and where possible, I've been playing all the game types, at least to complete enough to get a ranking. The 4x XP rotation helped there.

Played five games of Boxes 2v2, won 3, went positive k/d on those three, was top scorer twice, and I get assigned Bronze2. I mean WTF?!

Five re-ups now and still oh so far away from getting the classy! achievement.

Only 78 legendary cards or equivalent required for that now!

Well done mate, saw you on, I was playing Escalation.
I have not touched Horde in months, which is almost unthinkable when you remember I lived on Horde in Gears 3.
I hope 4.0 will be a return to form.

The short horde runs like monster mash are ok. I can't do many 50 wave efforts and not with randoms!

The 6x xp is nice just now. Think some more over the weekend will be required. That lev 6 for all class cards chieve is taking the piss though.

I still sort of half-hope to do it before 5 if i can...

Last lot of Gears Cheveos went live today, that is another 500gp to grind, taking the total to an eye watering 4000gp.

We also get the 9000 kills/downs challenge to unlock the emerald Gear and lastly a new pack at last, well a variant but it is nice never the less. "Stalker Kantus" and Violence weapon skins. Packs are 400cr and 2000cr.

A new Horde mode as well:

HORDE BOSS RUSH

Picture this. 10 waves to the finish. Bosses EVERY wave. Oh and, when we say bosses every wave, we mean fighting multiple bosses at once. And when we say multiple, we mean 3. Or 4. Or even 5. This is Horde dialed to insanity. We call it 'Boss Rush'.

This 10 wave experience will put you to the test as you fight to survive an insane onslaught from multiple bosses. It�s so insane, in fact, that our featured playlists are starting set to Casual and Hardcore.

Like our recent Stay Frosty event, we�ll be developing this Horde variant based on your feedback. Feel like it�s not tough enough? We�ll give you harder difficulty playlists. Find something is making the experience frustrating? We�ll try and address it.

Check it out for yourself beginning this Friday in Gears 4. We hope you dig this one as much as we do.

Ah well, no new trailer or anything, but that was entertaining enough. Would have been cool if Laura Bailey and Liam McIntyre were there too - that panel they all did before 4 came out (think it was at SDCC?) was really good.

As for activity I do nearly all Gears stuff on Gears.com now. This thread is pretty dead

maybe when 5 is out it will breathe new life into it ?

I would play more often but the game crashes every time during matches now. Used to get the odd one but its gotten worse and hard resets my pc.

I know its a known issue by TC but its a shame its never gotten fixed in the games lifetime.

I'll try again over Gearsmas for the last time..
