| I bought this off Mike_Hunt for £5 almost a year ago and I still haven't played it. Once I get my new PC around christmas it'll be at the top of the list. |

Registered 18 years agoPoor Troika didn't have a great coding team it seams or their QA was crap or non existent :/ as all their games i have played were awesome but severely bugged
Both Vampires TM and Temple of Elemental Evil were awesome. -

Heh, I hated Redemption so much (there are threads about it, in this forum) that I almost wouldn't have bought this game (which I think is an absolute masterpiece of an RPG) just because it's taking place in the same universe.

Just finished this with my malkavian (arugining with a stop sign for the win!) and have a Toreador just past giovani mansion who has damn fine stats (spent all on char as the disciplines with this clan arn't too strong) and will give a good beating to people later on.
Love the ending, nice and cheeky, but the story could have been abit sharper i guess, kinda comes second to the world and atmosphere.
Also, it was done 3 months before HL2 shipped, in an interview Trioka were pissed off that they had to let it linger untill release before activision would fund any patches and further QA (i assume the QA was Publisher side and not in house developer, big mistake id say) -

Registered 18 years agoThe bugs in the official 1.2 patch dont cause any problems. Be careful of the fan patch mind, as it fixes loads, but breaks little bits.
In 2.6 ive found that:
*Larry doesn't give you a better choice of guns after you do his mission
*Gone Fishin' contact does not appear where he is supposed to.
But the game adds loads of xp that was missed from missions due to missing scripts, fixes 99.9% of the dialouge spelling errors and fixes conversation links to work correctly.
@Dragul
Couldn't tell you honestly, dont think there is an issue, but i run XP X64, so im in a different kettle alltogether.

Is there a chance you can test it under XP?!
I really want to offer this two games to my girlfriend... -
The tape is in the crypt. -
I can't remember exactly. It's in a drawer somewhere... I remember cobwebs and human bones being nearby... In an alcove near the back? Definitely in on of those alcoves with the gates though. -

Registered 17 years agoIsn't there a door in the crypt to the Nosferatu hideout? I don't know if that has anything to do with the tape, though.
All I can suggest is that you might need to do something else first. What is the 'Ginger Snaps' password for, anyway? -

Thanks. -
