Not too fussed about the performance being accurate to Ford.
It's like Downfall where Ganz (sp?) didnt exactly look like Hitler but the performance took over and it didn't matter.
That relies on a good performance though so who knows.

Eugh, it looks like everything I feared. Too serious. Dark. Not fun.

All it needed to be was a light-hearted, mischievous adventure about a rogue space trader with plenty of hijinks thrown in. Han Solo isn't this huge pivotal character... He's just a guy who got morally mixed up in a galactic war.

Ron Howard directing a star wars film is about as vanilla as you can get.

Emilia Clark cannot and will not act, Alden Ehrenreich seems to have channelled his character directly from Hail, Caesar!

The trailer may as well just show the logo for 90 seconds - it would elicit the same emotional response.

This needs killing with fire.

Apparently, the supporting cast is excellent. Especially Donald Glover as Lando. Guy who plays Solo, not so much.
