I hope Affleck get's his cock out in all of these films, that was certainly the highlight of his career so far.

All the most serious actors get there cock out. They'll be up to there utility belt in oscars if batman lets his batarang loose.

I'm quite interested in this after watching bvs. The only thing I liked was batfleck. He's come on alot as well. If you go back 10 years I thought he was a joke that only brought out shit but he kept it up, improved himself and has written and directed some corkers.

It's a sort of origin story, Bruce Wayne working as a janitor in a university faculty trying to make sense of his life, one day solves a complicated riddle on the chalk board. Professor Alfred tracks him down at a Krav Maga class and takes the angry young Wayne under his wing and provides the focus he needs to turn his life around

I'm a little surprised that this is going ahead. It's the most interesting DCEU film we know of to date but I had a feeling that Affleck would distance himself from the whole thing, as much as he could, after BvS.

But he's a good director and cares about the writing. If he gets some creative control over the movie it could be very good.

I hope it's a prequel - I hope it shows Robin (and his death) and Bruce's descent in madness after it.

I'd like to see them go "full comic book" with it, similar to the Arkham games, because we haven't seen that on film yet.

I think it's got serious potential, especially with Affleck directing it. Gone baby gone, The Town and Argo are all excellent movies, I think this movie is in safe hands.

I'll be honest if you go back 10 years-ish I used to hate Affleck. I just thought he was a talentless fuckface but I gotta give him credit he's actually put some effort in over the years and actually improved himself. He's been really good as a director too. I'm interested to see what he can do.

I am very excited for this film. All I want Ben to remember that Batman is known as the world's greatest detective as well as being a badass fighter. As long as he does that, he can tell me any story he likes.

Has a film based on comic books ever won a proper Oscar?... (as in director/screenplay/actor, not costumes and special effects)

Ledger winning supporting actor is the best they've done I think.
